My family of five stayed at the Hotel Everest for three nights in October. The actual hotel is located on the third floor. Look for the plaque that is located on the right hand side of the main entry door on street level. The hotel itself is very dated with 70's decor, but clean. The beds were comfortable. We are a family of five with children aged 11 through 14 so the room was a bit tight with all of us in there. The bathroom was tiny, but clean. The hotel is on a main road so it can get very noisy outside. The staff were helpful friendly. The complex has a lift albeit a very small one. Two people at a time please. Close to the train station and to a variety of eateries this hotel will work for a no fuss stay. No breakfast available. It's a 15 min walk to the Colosseum. 5 min to the train station. Stay here it's ok. Just remember it's not the Ritz.

pros: location to train, price, comfortable bed, friendly staff, clean room.
cons: no controlled a/c and it's too busy an area to open the windows (just want to be comfortable on vacation with a cool room in hot rome)
limited space for luggage, no place for toiletries in shower, no English tv programs.

The hotel is very central and the rooms good value for money, especially for a city like Rome. They're fairly small but everything worked (except for the dodgy shower holdall). It would be good it the check out time could be later, as there was no flexibility on this (it was 10am).

It is a good value for money. It's very convenient. Close to all attractions. The staff is extremely friendly and helpful. The bad part is that is very noisy. I had to buy some earplugs at the chemist.

Arrived in Rome just after noon and an easy walk from Termini Train station with our roll aboard carry on luggage. Room was available for early check in and reception was very helpful with a map and pointing out attractions. Wifi was excellent and room was clean with 3 single beds and two more making a double. Bathroom a bit small but small fridge and closet space ideal for 3 of us staying just one night. Very central location meant it was very noisy with windows open but a good trade off. Would book again.
