This hotel looks great in photos and is well situated near the Campo di Fiori. Unfortunately, there are some serious compromises, particularly if you stay in the Annex across the plaza from the main building.
The staff was very courteous and the daily breakfast in the Roman ruins in the basement was well stocked (while the ruins are nice, good luck getting WiFi in that cave!).
Our problems were with Room 3 in the annex...up 3 flights of very narrow stairs only to be kept awake by a flock of pigeons roosting under the eaves. Or by trash service at 3 a.m. Or by revelers at the restaurant across the street at 1 a.m. Or the echoes of motorbikes at any particular hour. Don't expect peace and quiet. Also, no WiFi in the annex.More
