If you like small hotels, in an excellent location, then the Hotel Rinascimento is the place for you! It is located in a refurbished villa in the heart of Rome, close to the Campo de' Fiori and the Tiber River, and within easy walking distance of public transportation. We, however, walked everywhere! Our daughter, who uses a wheelchair or walker, found the hotel very accessible, with no steps into the lobby, an elevator to all the floors, and modern, roll-in bathroom. Our rooms were small, but very comfortable and attractive. The breakfast was delicious, with a choice of hot and/or cold dishes. We spent three nights and plan to stay there next time we're in Rome.

We chose this hotel primarily for its location and comparatively low cost for Rome. It's located within walking distance to many restaurants, Piazza Navona, Campo dei Fiori and all of the major sights (the Vatican being the farthest, but still walkable) and is a clean, new space. We stayed for 3 nights. The room was very small, modern and nice, but on the second day, we noticed that many ants had come in from the balcony into the room. We informed the front desk and were quickly switched to a much bigger, ant-free room on the 2nd floor at no extra cost. It wasn't an issue of the room being unclean, just a problem with the balcony door in that particular room. Other than that, our stay was great. Located on a quiet side street, great air conditioning and breakfast was OK as well.

The best hotel ever!!!!!. I went to this hotel with my fiancee and we had an amazing time. Rome was a place that I always wanted to go to and I must say that both Rome and the hotel far exceeded my expectation. The receptionist was welcoming and informed us of where to go while in Rome, also providing us with a map with all the landmarks. They were always smiling and were always there to answer our questions. The complimentary breakfast was DELICIOUS. There was eggs, cereal, different kinds of pastries, yogurts, coffee, tea, juice, etc. There was everything you needed to eat a hearty breakfast, you had many different choices for breakfast and everything was fresh and delicious. The location of the hotel was PERFECT, it was walking distance to all the famous landmarks, so I was really happy because I could always come back to the hotel in the afternoon to freshen up, rest and go back out again. The hotel room was VERY spacious, clean and updated, the bathroom was amazing, the shower INCREDIBLE. Overall this hotel was just magnificent and when we go back to Rome, I will definitely book this hotel again, that is for sure!!!!

I recently stayed for 4 nights at Hotel Rinascimento while traveling in Rome with a friend. The hotel looked just like the pictures online. It was very modern and clean. The bathroom had a rain shower head, and was a decent size. The staff spoke fluent English and were very helpful. The breakfast was substantial although we usually slept in and skipped it. The location was very central, we walked everywhere from Ancient Rome, Vatican City, Pantheon, North Rome, Trastavere, etc. Nothing was more than 1 mile or so. They have a computer and nice lounge by the check-in desk. Also, the street was relatively quiet with the window closed. We stayed in 2 different rooms and both had a window that opened onto the small street out front. Our second room had 2 double doors that opened to the outside with a beautiful view of a church down the street. We switched rooms because they did not have 2 twin beds available the first night, but the double bed was large enough for us to sleep comfortably. I highly recommend this hotel and will definitely stay here if I go back to Rome!

Room Tip: Ask for a nice view

Within easy walking distance of all the sites and some great restaurants. Staff were very helpful. Rooms on the small side but had all the facilities you need and were in good condition and clean. The ensuite featured a decent shower and the breakfast set you up well for a days sightseeing.
