My family and I stayed in the apartment for 3 nights, It was perfect, clean, spacious and comfortable( i only wish we could have stayed longer). Angelo and his staff were very professional, friendly and very happy to be of service.
we really couldn't ask for better! The location is very accessible to everything. I would love to return again!

We stayed at the Hotel Cortina in Apt. A for three nights. The rooms were beautiful, clean, and the perfect accommodation for our family of five. Mr. Milano and his staff were most gracious and helpful. We appreciated the internet access, breakfast in the morning, and the espresso maker in the kitchen. The bathrooms are modern and were stocked with soap, shampoo and a blow dryer. The location is a ten minute walk to the Termini Metro station, and a half hour walk to the Colosseum. We would stay here again.

I recently stayed at the Hotel Cortina for 7 nights and it was a very positive experience.
The room was very pretty. On the negative, the tub leaked but they knew this and an absorbent towel did the job. A bit of a weak flush to the toilet, though. Room very, very clean.
We had a room on an outside wall and it is very noisy with the roar of the traffic on the Nationale. With ear plugs, it was fine. The mattress and pillow were wonderful.
The staff were exceptional - very friendly, warm and helpful.
The breakfast was very good although for improvement I would suggest real juice, not 'fruit punch'. The rolls were excellent although one day they were dry/old.
There is a sign on the sidewalk pointing to the entrance. It is not what you expect. It points to a big wooden door. Just push the buzzer and they will let you in. Take the wee elevator (if you have luggage) to the first floor and the reception desk and rooms are there.
Excellent location to the metro, train station and the main attractions.

Room Tip: We were in room one, right off the reception. Rarely heard anybody at reception. Take ear plugs fo...

Had a great time in Rome, largely due to this lovely little hotel. The staff were very friendly and made sure we were comfortable. The men on reception were always happy to answer any questions (and we had a lot) and recommend places to see and eat. We were given a large, clean room with a spacious bathroom and although the hotel is near a busy road, we didn’t hear a thing when the window was closed. The breakfast is simple but lovely and you can help yourself to as much as you want while you tea/coffee is constantly being topped up. The location is great, we walked mostly all over Rome, but it is close to the main train station. We had arranged to be picked up from the airport through the hotel, which worked well and although this is more expensive than other ways of getting into the centre, we were glad this was arranged before we arrived (we got the train back to the airport). All in all, great Hotel!

After choosing a really bad Rome hotel on the recommendation an acquaintance I found myself needing to find a new hotel. We found The Hotel Cortina purely by accident and could not have been more please.

In Rome, many of the hotels suffer from poor lighting, uncomfortable beds and very small rooms. The Cortina is possibly the most comfortable hotel that I have stayed in while traveling around Italy.

The staff was very helpful, the breakfast room is very charming, the location can't be beat and for a hotel located on a main road it is super quiet.

Love the Cortina and can't wait to return.
