“Great Stay”
4 of 5 bubbles Reviewed 5 April 2012

We recently stayed here for 4 nights and were completely happy with the stay. The front desk staff was extremely helpful and knowledgeable. The location is great and not too far to walk to the train stations and there is a taxis stand right down the street. The free wet bar is a nice touch and provides some beer, soda, and water daily. The breakfast is light, but good and our girls loved the hot chocolate! The only draw back is the elevator is small and slow at times. We would stay here again if in Rome!

This hotel is perfectly located. We stayed here in July 2011. We got off of the train with our luggage and it was about a half mile walk to the hotel. We arrived at noon and then decided to walk around and check out the city. We knew that the hotel was close to everything, but we didn't realize just how close. In 3.5 hours we saw half of what we wanted to see in Rome. The next two days were spent on some great tours.

The hotel itself is very nice. The bathrooms are a bit small, but very nicely appointed. Breakfast and the service was also very good.

I'm rarely moved to write reviews - i just read others to help me choose. That's how I came across the Artemide Hotel in Rome. The service was SO good I had to put pen to paper. While we encountered a couple of minor problems, what shone through brightly was the absolutely superb attention to customer care by the staff. Nothing was too much trouble any time, any day. You just don't get service like that anymore (so I thought). Our holiday was to celebrate my wife's 60th birthday. The trip alone was wonderful, but the hotel and its magnificent staff made the experience truly memorable. One small example: my wife bought some shoes in Rome and managed to leave them behind. One email was all it took to elicit a swift response and the promise to post to us in England at no cost - all part of the service. Truly amazing. We shall stay there again next time we're in Rome and certainly not just because it's central and ideally placed for all the must-see tourist attractions.

Room Tip: If you don't like the room (unlikely) just ask for another. They'll bend over backwards to h...

This hotel was fine, reasonably close walking distance to central locations. Not in a particularly oldy worldy pretty street, but not far from the really nice areas.

Dear Guest,

We are sorry to hear that you have not found the location of the Hotel to your liking.

However, we would like to underline the fact that our location is fully described on all the websites where we sell and on Facebook. Furthermore, the map which you may easily find, clearly shows the area where we are located. Via Nazionale is a central street, near the Termini train Station. It is a street renowned for shopping and cafes.

From what we understood, you were expecting us to be located in front of the Collosseum or next to other Roman ruins. Maybe this impression was caused by an unreliable website. As a Hotel, we would never write something untrue regarding our position or property. Furthermore, we might not face directly Rome ancient ruins, however, 5 minutes up the streets you may find the Diocletian’s Baths (298-306 A.D.), just on the other side of the Neptune Fountain in Piazza della Repubblica.

Rome has much to offer, beyond the Roman classics. It is a city with 2000 years of history and the onlooker may find anything of his interest. Our Hotel is conveniently located to reach everything in Rome and it is walking distance from many historical buildings and monuments.

For any particular suggestion needed for tours or concerns regarding our location, our Reception team is always at disposal to answer our Guests’ questions.

Third time I have booked a hotel using Tripadvisor reviews & each time loved my choice. The Giraffe & Casablanca NYC, this time the wonderful Artemide Rome. Highlights: perfect location to walk to all major attractions, clean & beautiful hotel, staff super hospitable & friendly, complimentary mini bar a wonderful idea (refilled daily), the widest choices for breakfast worth spending leisure time over, sauna & gym in basement (pool opens next year), calm relaxing atmosphere in lobby and bar area. Restaurant food was out of this world a definite dining destination. Requested quiet & high up room & wonderfully enjoyed private outdoor seating area & felt a milliion miles from the hustle & bustle of the city. Notwithstanding the wonderful complimentary prosecco, 50% discount on restaurant food & chianti plus welcome prosecco for my husband & my own birthday celebrations. Would love to return simply to enjoy the delights of Artemide alone. Free wifi & room snacks. What is there not to like..

Room Tip: High up & at back if like quietness, if prefer the scene, view & absorb Via Nationale atmosp...
