I stayed at Napoleon Hotel during two nights at the beginning of February.
It was freezing Rome, actually it was snowing and I arrived on a very early flight (7:00AM).
I was picked up at the airport and when I arrived at the hotel the manager had my room ready for me eventhough I was checking in at 9:00AM! My room was really cosy, very clean and nicely furnished.
Everybody who works at this hotel was extremly nice and friendly.
The hotel has an excellent location, away from tourists crowds but just some blocks away from the Colesseum and just two meters away from the subway entrance that it is some stops away from Piazza Spagna, Piazza di Popolo and the Vatican city.
I highly recommend this hotel because it is comfortable, very well managed and good located.
I will for sure come back!

Stayed twice at this very pleasant friendly 4 star family-run hotel in a 19th century palazzo, next to an underground station with a lot of bus-stops nearby (buy a map of Rome showing the bus lines for around € 2,-, it helps in finding the right bus-stop). The reception is one stair up on the first floor, porters help you with your lugage, the rooms are spacious and clean, sheets and towels are changed daily, free in-room Wifi; breakfast is good, the italian restaurant OK.
There is a small park opposite the hotel where children play.
The head-concierge is very friendly, knowledgeable and extremely helpful, helped us buy our 7 day Rome Travel Passes (€ 16,-) before we arrived so on arrival we could travel around Rome freely, helped us with online check-in and printing boarding passes before leaving for home which on the Alitalia website was quite a challenge, I even overheard him helping out a guest who phoned him from a hairdresser's salon to tell the hairdresser what she wanted!
The hotel can on request arrange pick-up from and to the airport for € 48,- one way for each saloon car (up to 4 persons).
The Colloseum and other sights are just a kilometer away, but in the heat the underground is preferable. Just be very wary of the very skilful pickpockets, especially when exiting the train!
In the direct vicinity of the hotel there are some very nice, very affordable and authentic chinese(!) restaurants, since the Chinese have bought a lot of property around the Piazza Vittorio Emanuele.

Just got back from a two night stay, at this lovely hotel I visited with my wife and 11 year old daughter and from the moment you step foot in the hotel you are made welcome, the foyer is quite small but don't let this put you off as there is lovely relaxing open room on the next level where you will find a bar and the breakfast room. All of the staff are very friendly and helpful, (special mention to Roberto the concierge at the front desk, thanks for all your recommendations Roberto!) There was even a wine tasting night were we had the pleasure of meeting the owner Mr Roberto Cioce, a lovely warm and welcoming man. I cannot recommend this lovely friendly hotel enough, just go.

My wife and i hosted between 17-21.2

The staff was very helpful about routs to tourist locations, and always with a smile.

The location is right in front of line 'A' metro station, and very close walk to the Colosseum and Termini.

The breakfast was rich and varied. the room was clean, spacious and cozy.

Also there is safety box in each room

we will definitely come back next time in Rome !
