My 20 yr old son and I spent 1 hour here. Great history. Free entrance. You go because it is the only Roman built building still in operation.

Big tip: download Rick Steve’s free audio guide at your hotel before going (very weak wifi around the site). Bring your earpieces And enjoy a free 25 min informative tour.

What can you say about the Pantheon that hasn’t already been said? It’s a bucket list destination and doesn’t disappoint, especially if you like historical architecture. Stunning!

The Pantheon is a breathtaking sight, standing for over 1000 years, the exterior is just as impressive as the interior. Head straight for the centre of the Pantheon and look up at the incredible oculus. Take time to soak up the history and marvel at Raphael’s tomb and sit and reflect in the pews. The Pantheon is free as well, and queuing was quick.

At the time of visiting it was free to wander in. Amazing piece of Roman history you can just pop into! Take your time, no need to rush.

Worth the short wait in the long queue outside in the Piazza. Inside is really beautiful and well maintained. There was a little rain falling which was visible from within. Amazing building.
