“Excellent!”
Reviewed 9 July 2016 for a stay in July 2016

Very happy with our choice of accommodation in Rome. At first we thought it might be too far from centre but once we figured out the buses it was simple. I preferred being out of the city centre. The accommodation was spotless and more than ample for our needs. Pino and his family had thought of everything you would need for self catering. Although we only cooked once as the pizzeria across the road and the osteria down the road were so good and economical there was no need. Unfortunately due to circumstances we were unable to meet Pino, we did however meet his very pleasant and helpful wife and son. We were disappointed not to meet Pino, due to us having to leave so early, but enjoyed many a chat via email, text and what's app. He was readily available for any info we needed

“Awesome Place!”
Reviewed 28 June 2016 for a stay in June 2016

This was a great place to stay! Very clean and comfortable with a lot of space. Pino is one of the kindest people you'll meet and he is willing to help you with anything 24/7. He definitely helped with finding good locations to eat and site see. If I ever return to Rome, I will try to reach out to him first!

“Awesome Place, Great Host and Beautiful Neighborhood”
Reviewed 14 June 2016 for a stay in April 2016

Pino was the perfect host. He picked us up at the Airport and drove us to the apartment. On the drive he helped us plan what we wanted to see. The apartment is perfect for a family of four, with two teenagers. We enjoyed many evenings in the garden after spending a long day touring Rome. The kitchen was great for making breakfast. There is a great local pizza place where we enjoyed many suppers with the help of the phrase book. The grocery store is a short walk and there is great espresso around the corner. There were a number of routes for public transit, but we walked into the centre of Rome each day which allowed us to check out the local churches, restaurants, architecture and people in Trastevere. We will return! Pino we cannot wait to see you again. And thanks for the help on locating the tickets for Football. Go AS Roma!

Liked best: It was nestle within the heart of the Roman people. It was not a tourist location. The garden was a great place for a glass of wine with Hubby while the kids relaxed inside.
Liked least: There was nothing that we disliked, after we figured out how the blind worked the first morning. You need to push down.

“Excellent host, excellent place!”
Reviewed 1 June 2016 for a stay in May 2016

Pino is a great host, tells you everything about touristic hotspots and public transport you need to know and offers help in the most friendly way. The appartement is nice and cosy, situated on the via donna olimpia where you will find lots of bars, cafes, restaurants and a great park, where our kids hat lots of fun. But don`t worry - at night it`s quiet. Two nearby buslines will bring you directly into the city center. Good choice for a family with kids.

“Spacious & great flat, nice quarter, & easy public transports to reach the central Rome”

We were very satisfied with this flat and very thankful for the great help and kindness of Pino.
The big appartement was perfect for our days in Rome: it was more than clean (much cleaner than a hotel we believed) and well equipped and we enjoyed to have some restful nights there after our long walking tours through Rome. The kitchen-table could receive us all 6 to prepare a dinner (stove, gaz-cooker, large fridge, italian coffee-maschine, etc… a complete equipment is available). We enjoyed good warm showers and the beds were nice for a recovering sleep. We were astonished to discover a small private garden with a terrace surrounded by banana-trees and a medlar-tree which was then in the end of the month may full of yellow fruits = Néflier commun (français) - Mespilus germanica (latin) - Mispel (deutsch). If necessary, you could have your t-shirts drying on this terrace.
Pino welcomed us and gave us all informations needed to find our orientation in the direct neigbourhood (giving us a map of the district) and how to find the two buses (1 minute walk from the flat) and the tramwayline n°8 (seven minutes walk away) which were available to join the different parts of the central part of Rome (one evening we simply used a taxi to come back to the flat and the price of the taxi-run was allright - in addition the cab driver had a small tv-screen installed in the front and Juventus Torino was just playing against Milano, can you imagine a nicer thing to drive back after and enchanting day in the streets and museums of Rome than to follow a match with the cabdriver!!! who remained concentrated on the road). We had two keys at our disposal. The flat was in a typical roman appartment building opening on a very quiet courtyard, we felt secure and well surrounded.
The quarter around the flat had a number of shops available: a café and bakery 15 meters away, a larger supermarket at 8 minutes distance (Simply), two fruit and vegetable shops at 5 minutes walk distance.
This flat was perfect for us and we felt lucky to stay there. We have already travelled to London and Berlin with our children, now for the first time we felt sad to leave, and we will enjoy to meet Pino again.
