“Sapore di casa” in Italian means “The state of house” in English.
Just like the name, there was the like my hospitality home.

The reason I decided to stay here, although my friend told me, was that I had wanted to have a relationship with another culture’s people. As expected I could have a very nice time with another customers and the owner Max and Daniela at the living room.

There are three rooms.
The room's name I stayed was “Vacanze Romane”.
It was clean room and sheet.
The owner cleaned my room everyday.

There is communal lavatory and bathroom, in addition to that, there are a communal refrigerator and electric pot.

If you stay here, you will wake up hearing the sound of birds singing.
I could relax at the living room with steaming nature light.

There are a supermarket, pizzeria and restaurant we can eat Japanese or Chinese foods near here.

It takes about 30 minutes on foot to the Saint Peter's Basilica. If you use the bus, it takes about 10 minutes plus about 10 minutes on foot.

Here is a little far from the downtown of Rome, but you can go there by bus and Metro.
It doesn't take long time. I thouhgt it took about 30 minutes from here to Termini starion in total .

If I am allowed to wish so much, the wi-fi wave was not good much in my room.
But you can it best in the living room.

I stayed on June 2013.
I am Japanese, so I'm sorry if my English is wrong.

Do you want to have a home feeling while staying in Rome ? .. Stay in Sapore di Casa !! .. Their place is full of charm and books that makes you feel in love with it instantly . Away from the crowded center , conveniently communicated by bus and metro, and for the more active visitors the distances are easy to walk. There are enough bar choices in the area with the advantage that being less touristic the locals will recognize you after the second visit and the barman will know what type of coffee you want before you ask for it.
Daniela and Max are smiley, open, warm and welcoming, eager to hear the experiences you want to share , willing to give you tips that are not in the guides and help in all what you might need.
The room I stayed in was light, clean and spacious, the same goes for the toilet .
Daniela and Max, I feel very lucky to have stayed at your home, and my Rome experience has been enhanced with all the good energy that you project .
Un abrazo y hasta pronto ! :-)

It is not about the location, those old stylish rooms, impeccable cleaning, or that breakfast.. it is about people who open their home to share it with you.. and you are just a passenger, merely mortal tourist for everybody else in Rome, but for them - you are a guest, a short term friend, a roommate. Or maybe not - but they won't ever show their untrust or negative attitude. They are always there with the smile or a simple 'come va?' We enjoyed their hospitality so much. If there is a perfect way to be treated and greeted (without staying in a 5* hotel and paying a bunch of money for a receptionist's smile) - than this is it.
Your home is a lovely place and even if we hated so much public transportation in Rome, we would always come back to you.
Btw, someone said that they couldn't sleep :D haha we slept so well, actually overslept a part of our vacations as it was so comfortable and quiet.

Room tip: All the rooms seemed quite spacious and nice even for 4.

Our stay was everything that the reviews we read on TripAdvisor said it should be. Max and Daniella were perfect and bent over backwards for us. We missed our flight, lost our bag, and were generally pretty flustered when we arrived. They took it all in stride and helped us with everything they could. Max even waited at the airport for us over 4 hours. We are so grateful to them.

Of course the room and location are great as has already been mentioned. We were able to walk to the Vatican in about 30 minutes. Metro is right around the corner as well as some awesome pizza places and a sweet wine shop you have to check out.

This B&B comes with the highest recommendation from us!

Hi there. Sorry we are so late in thanking you for your kind review. We enjoyed your stay here as much as you did and I can honestly say that this doesn't happen with every guest. Did you get your luggage back, after all.
We hope to see you again sometime.

We cannot say enough good things about this charming bed and breakfast on the outskirts of Rome, just a short walk from buses and trains to the city centre.

From the moment Max picked us up from the station, we knew we were going to have a great stay. We were welcomed like friends, and felt truly lucky to have found such a cosy home away from home.

Our room was beautifully decorated, impeccably clean and the perfect place to wind down after a sweltering day in the city. Max and Daniela could not have been more attentive, friendly and helpful and the delicious breakfast really set us up for hardcore days of sightseeing. We felt so at home we were sad to leave.

Thankyou for making our stay in Rome so special. We hope to come and see you again soon.
