Few things need to be mentioned about the Stay. Considering the first to days of our Stay I would have given it four stars but not with the other to days.Owner Frenchesco and his Wife were friendly. Room was cleaned on the first day and all was good but the room was not cleaned on other days. The notice said that the Bedding will be changed in 3 days but no towels or bed covers changed on day three. Not Impressed with the condition of the Bathroom. Sorry I cannot Recommend.

We stayed here in May. What a joke. Please don't get this mixed up with st John villa, which seems to have a good write up. Photos must have been taken well back. Quite dirty. Breakfast was another laugh. If cold you had to sit with your coat on as you can only eat out sideunder a dirty canopy. There is no kettle or toaster. Owner smoked when cooking. Please check what st John you are looking at. Spoilt our stay in rome. Not a lot going on near by.

Our first trip to Rome and we stayed here, not sure we're to start regarding problems. They had overbooked so we arrived to be told we would be staying elsewhere for the first night. Owner said he would bring his car to get us the next morning at 9 so we did not have to walk back with luggage. He did not turn up and the owner of StJohn Villa drove us to the B&B. Room was not ready but were told to leave our bags & when we finished our day our the room would be ready with our bags in it. Returned at 6pm, bags in room but we had no towels or soap. At 7:30pm the owner finally arrived with some semi dry towels. Next morning breakfast was not available from 7:30 as stated so by 7:45 with no sign of breakfast we went without. Next day breakfast was there and getting sorted at 8:30am. Our last day at the B&B they were setting breakfast up at 8am hardly helpful when our taxi arrived at the same time. The bathroom was dirty and the shower worse - see pictures attached. The main area of entrance/kitchen had a smell of cigarette smoke which turned out to be the owner smoking in the kitchen, we learnt this the one day we did get breakfast at the B&B. There is no safe in room, the knob came off in my hand.

Great little place hard to find but if you book direct. Marco will do a pick up and drop off from Airport in a nice merc for a very reasonable fee nice little place ner the metro station which can be busy but no more than London . Very cheap one day tickets very easy to work out. Stops at trevi fountain ⛲ the Vatican etc would advise audio tours of the coliseum and Vatican not expensive. All in all had a great time

I wanted to say that this B&B offers all that you need. I loved the spot and location , and one subway stop away from Ri di Roma - a great place for Pizza and food as well as Pompi's. The place and rooms are very clean. And good Wifi. The greatest part of the B&B are the people. They are very welcoming and will do everything to make your stay a pleasant one. They score an A+ Thank you Marco and his wife. Merci.
