Our first trip to Rome and we stayed here, not sure we're to start regarding problems. They had overbooked so we arrived to be told we would be staying elsewhere for the first night. Owner said he would bring his car to get us the next morning at 9 so we did not have to walk back with luggage. He did not turn up and the owner of StJohn Villa drove us to the B&B. Room was not ready but were told to leave our bags & when we finished our day our the room would be ready with our bags in it. Returned at 6pm, bags in room but we had no towels or soap. At 7:30pm the owner finally arrived with some semi dry towels. Next morning breakfast was not available from 7:30 as stated so by 7:45 with no sign of breakfast we went without. Next day breakfast was there and getting sorted at 8:30am. Our last day at the B&B they were setting breakfast up at 8am hardly helpful when our taxi arrived at the same time. The bathroom was dirty and the shower worse - see pictures attached. The main area of entrance/kitchen had a smell of cigarette smoke which turned out to be the owner smoking in the kitchen, we learnt this the one day we did get breakfast at the B&B. There is no safe in room, the knob came off in my hand.

Great little place hard to find but if you book direct. Marco will do a pick up and drop off from Airport in a nice merc for a very reasonable fee nice little place ner the metro station which can be busy but no more than London . Very cheap one day tickets very easy to work out. Stops at trevi fountain ⛲ the Vatican etc would advise audio tours of the coliseum and Vatican not expensive. All in all had a great time

I wanted to say that this B&B offers all that you need. I loved the spot and location , and one subway stop away from Ri di Roma - a great place for Pizza and food as well as Pompi's. The place and rooms are very clean. And good Wifi. The greatest part of the B&B are the people. They are very welcoming and will do everything to make your stay a pleasant one. They score an A+ Thank you Marco and his wife. Merci.

Well when I got to Rome I was uber lost and late, last check in was at 11pm, because of late flight I never arrived in till after 11pm, but the taxi waited. Arrived there and was given a warm welcome by the owner. Was shown my room/apartment and was well impressed, was a lovely little place, wine in the room to help yourself to, but obviously pay at the end of your visit, big tele in the room and nice and cool, ac did its job great. Plenty to chose from at the breakfast menu, female member of staff on (can't remember her name) was very helpful, even though she never spoke much English. There is a lift/elevator to use to get up and down the stairs, but if you're a bit chlostrophobic I would use the stairs as the lift's a bit of a rickety old thing. Only just over a miles walk to The Colosseum, a very pleasant walk. There is a big market on the way there, but if you do buy something, make sure and check it's actually what you paid for, the market traders are a bit shifty lol.
All in all a great visit, only wish I had longer than 3 days there

We spent 3 nights in B&B and enjoyed Rome very much as the location is perfect, close to Colosseum in walking distance. In B&B it is possible to use kitchen as we did. Stefano is a great guy, after all we liked his company very much, ans you can taste the best Italian coffe there. The rooms are clean and the breakfast is good. Thank yio Stefano. Would recommend everyone..
