This recently opened restaurant is a welcome change from overprized pasta and pizza restaurants in this area. Advertising as “Antica Birreria Viennese”, with my limited knowledge of Austrian cooking, the only typical Viennese dish I found was Sachertorte. The interior is modern and the chairs are comfortable.
Welcomed with a glass of sparkling wine, you immediately feel at home here. The menu shows a variety of exiting dishes and among the starters a delicious tartar and an unusual combination of octopus and fried artichoke leaves. Perfect cooking!
Throughout our meal the service was excellent and wine recommendations were a perfect match.
Not among the cheapest restaurants, but highly recommended.
