My husband and I were traveling with my parents and it was their first time in Rome. We wanted to take an afternoon to just sit in a piazza to eat, drink, and people watch. We exited the Pantheon and there was someone singing music and we spotted this restaurant and decided to sit and enjoy a bottle of wine. We wound up sitting at this restaurant for hours eating good antipasti and trying some different wines. The service was excellent and they didn't mind us sitting there for hours even though we didn't order a full meal. The atmosphere was excellent and we made a reservation there for the next night for 8 of us as some of our friends were meeting us in Rome the next day. The following evening we had dinner at this restaurant. The food, service, and atmosphere were equally as good as the day before and we were very happy that we returned. The only downside of dining at any of the main piazzas in Italy is that the price tag is always higher. However, in our opinion, the experience of lounging in a piazza in Italy taking it all in far outweighs the higher prices.
