“Can't wait for opening”
4 of 5 bubbles Reviewed 14 May 2007

I booked this hotel for my trip to Italy, 3 days Rome, Florence, Amalfi coast for July and unfortunately I received some days ago a message from the hotel that it will not be open on time.
Of course, it was a big surprise for us as everything is booked already, from the tickets to the private guide but I want to express my personal opinion in how this situation was treated by the hotel. They provided excellent customer service, offering an alternate hotel and booking for us all additional services like transfer, private guide, 2 restaurants. I would have prefered to stay at the 155 but at the same time they took very good care of my reservation and all my requests what is showing how professional they work.
As soon as the hotel will open, it will be the first hotel on my list to try hoping to find the same persons who were taking care of my reservation now. Special thank you to Valeria & Claudia from the reservation/ sales office!

I had booked this hotel for 8-11 June, thanking my lucky stars that I hadn't tried to go in April, like the other user review. I have just had MY booking cancelled as they hotel apparently STILL isn't ready. Of course, at this short notice most of the other comparable hotels are full. Seeing as this hotel is part of a reputable group, this is very disappointing, and I certainly shall avoid the group in future.

I would have been very pleased to be the first review writer of this promising new place.
Unfortunately, my mid-May reservation has been cancelled : the boutique is not ready to start its operations.
According to its site, opening initially planned for April is now foreseen in June.
They have been kind enough to propose me a replacement booking at the Lord Byron.
