I tried to escape from crowds of tourists near Vatican museums and found this wonderful place. I had an excellent cup of cappuccino and very tasty sandwich there! Staff was very friendly. Thank you!

There are MANY places in Rome to get an espresso, cappuccino etc - probably too many - but few are owned, operated, and curated and more by a true artisan/artist of the art of roasting, blending, and producing the excellent Italian coffees you can find in mediocre form all over the peninsula.
Antonello will share HOW he selects his bean, WHY he blends the way he does to produce particular results for particular coffees, WHAT you should drink based on your tastes and at what hour of the day. He lovingly cleans his coffee machines continually, serves you SPECIAL water to cleanse your palate before your coffee, and suggests the right pairing among the many pastries & other sweets he and his team produce from fresh local ingredients. And this is why you'll see so many locals coming in.
Want a quick breakfast before facing the Vatican Museums? Want a quick lunch of fresh sandwiches, juices, and tea/tisane blends? What a pick-you-up in the late PM? This is the place.... And if you really plan your time well, you can ask for a short course (2hrs) in the history of coffee, roasting & blending, cappuccino art and more. Walk away with a booklet on the Art of Espresso and your own modest certificate to hang on your kitchen wall over your machine at home...
And there's more: no plastic, two comfy armchairs, clean toilette, free wifi, special holiday offerings like traditional Easter breakfast. All prices posted in Italian and English.

Everything has been carefully selected from various type of cofffee to the different cakes and biscuits. He toasts his own coffee beans. Do ask Antonello about the different types of coffee he has. There is a great 100% Arabic coffee. Do come back and try the Neapolitan coffee.
Where possible, Antonello always tries to have organic products from the area. Everything is fresh. Only problem is there is so much to choose from - just have to come back.
