This was booked online and boy, was it one misleading posting!
The one and ONLY good thing about the hotel was fact that it was extremely close to the Subway.
The fact that all hotel rooms were on the first floor and facing the busy Ring road, meant traffic and siren sounds all night.
The AC was broken in the room, the mattresses were sagging, the sheets barely clean, the lock, no- the HANDLE on the bathroom door came out in our hands.
can see other reviewers have rated the staff as excellent and friendly.
My friends and II would bed to differ and how! There were two grouchy men and one friendly man. The friendly man we saw just the first time we walked in, when we checked in.
After that- it was Grouchy Service everyday, consistently.
The breakfast was monotonous- croissant rolls and jam and coffee and juice and even though we said we'd PAY for extra coffee, we heard grumbles before, during and after we were served.
It was by no means a CHEAP hotel, so we were rather disgruntled.
They also refused to store any of our luggage when we were checking out at 10 am, even though we requested them- our flight being at 10 pm.
Never going back there again.
We discovered a gem on our very last day- Hotel Re Di Roma, round the corner from Roi.
A review of that follows.More
