“Rome......definately return to Rome and this hotel!”
Reviewed 21 February 2012

This hotel is the best hotel I've stayed at in a long time! The first impression of the location is a bit daunting, in a back street. We never felt threatened at all walking to and from the hotel anytime of day. We were welcomed by the front desk staff who were very informative about the transport etc. The room was fabulous, we were three adults and the accommodation was more that sufficient. There were lots of lovely White towels ( changed every day if required) plenty spare pillows, free security safe, shower, bath, bidet and sink, toothbrushes and toothpaste, soap, showergel, shampoo, quality hairdryer, mini bar very reasonable by todays standards, free wifi, computer connections, big tv, the guest bed was very comfortable although not as comfy as the superkingsize bed, room service was also very reasonable, coffee making facilities, we never bothered to find out how to operate it as the breakfast in the hotel was exceptional we never felt the need for extra coffees! Every member of staff we encountered was more than pleasant and helpful. Our flight was not until evening, so we opted to leave our luggage in the hotels left luggage and return to the hotel and have a taxi take us from there to
ciampino airport just what we needed. Nothing was a problem, so much so my daughters both said the hotel was just getting better and better!!! The area where the hotel is called Trastevere is an amazing town,no metro, however it has a train station, a good walk from the hotel. The restaurants locally were great. One called retro just around the corner from hotel and the other we found was rosa mosquita across the main road to the left of the hotel. I cannot rave about Roma citta enough and I can't wait to return with my husband! If I can help in any other way please get in touch.

We stayed at this hotel for 3 nights. The hotel itsself is very clean and the staff are very personable.. Our room was on the 1st floor (over the restaurant) so we could hear the tables and chairs moving. The hotel doesnt seem to have great noise insulation (we could hear the next door occupants phone vibrating!) The maids, whilst very efficient, can be noisy when cleaning adjoining rooms because of the lack of noise insulation.
Because of the location you can catch the 170 bus into the main part of Rome (costs one euro)
Would i recomend the Hotel ? Yes, Would we stay there again, probably no because of location and noise issues.

Room Tip: Chosoe one thats not above the restaurant

I stayed here for 5 nights on a holiday with my girlfriend. The hotel is a little walk away from the train station (10 minutes). The hotel is absolutely beautiful, one of the nicest I have ever stayed in. Rooms were immaculate and cleaned everyday. The pool on the roof was really nice with great views over the city. The location is a bit far from the centre but the free bus is excellent (never missed it or didn't get on) and the public bus goes from just down the road and costs very little. Its nice to stay out of the touristy areas and see a little bit more of Rome.

I would thoroughly recommend Rome as a holiday and this hotel as your base while there.

Loved the hotel. It was clean, new, chic-modern, great service and very affordable. Not too far from the restaurant district about $10Euros taxi cab to a great location called Trastevere. Its about $20Euros cab to the Vatican city and a great shopping area. Most tour agencies however will pick you up in the morning so its not too bad because the pick up price is included in the package. Don't have anything negative to say, I would definitely come back.

Room Tip: We asked for a king size bed and it was great and very comfortable.
