It was a really nice vacation in Emily's B&B! We stayed 3 nights. We appreciated the information about discovering Rome of Emily. It was easy to travel from the airport to the Emily's crib. The breakfast was nice, but it was always the same. The room was very clean! When we had a problem, we could count on Emily.
The B&B was next to a street with a lot of noise, so my girlfriend coudn't sleep well. There was also no airconditioning in our room but there was a ventilator, so this was a good solution.

Tip: Do not take the bus but do everything by foot! Then you smell the real Rome!

We have been to Rome this November and spent nice few days. Emily and Marco are really nice hosts. Bedrooms were nice with real blankets (necessary in November), equipment of shared bathroom was sufficient, no problem with hot water. Everything very clean. Breakfasts are served in hosts' apartment by themselves.
Rooms are without fridge, glasses or any other dishes, but with furniture. Located two blocks away from Termini station, and B&B is well marked, so it was really easy to find it:).
In case of any other trip to rome we would like to stay here again.

When we arrived at Tropical B&B seemed to us that this is a great place for 4 nights in Rome. Unfortunately, for various reasons, there was no vacancy which was reserved. At the beginning we were a little nervous. We planned to explore the city from the Termini station. But Emily began to apologize to us and she proposed for the same price comfortable apartment which exceeded our expectations. Right next to the Vatican at Via Ottaviano street, with balcony, fully equipped kitchen, two-storey, newly renovated, just wonder. And all for the same price with delivery of their private car. On the way back we were also taken their private car to Termini Station from where we had a bus to Ciampino Airport. Unprecedented kindness, understanding and compensation, which exceeded what we purchased. Many thanks to Emily and Marc for the wonderful accommodation and care. Thank you, we recommend you to all! The place is definately clean and the service and hospitality was excellent. Marco found my partner and I sitting at the terminal looking lost, no reservations, so he took us to the B&B which is <3 blocks from the terminal, less than a 5 minute walk (luggage included). We stayed 2 nights had to leave the 3rd due to prior reservations, so we found another place about 1.5 blks away for our 3rd night but went running back for the 4th and 5th nights. Emily and Marco are such great people. Emily is one of the kindest people you'd ever want to know, she has the biggest heart and if I ever find myself in Rome again I will try to and hope that I stay at Tropical B&B. I already MISS EMILY...

Room tip: hope that Emily is there and you get to talk to her over breakfast or when you check-in or check-out and give her a hug form me.

This B & B was excellent! It was clean, the hosts were lovely, the breakfast was good, and the rate was great! The one downfall (not to anyone's fault) is the location. Yes, it is EXTREMELY close to the train station so that is a plus, but it is because it is so close to the train station that makes the location a bit spotty.
Walking around the train station at night is scary and dangerous. There are plenty of homeless people sleeping and peeing all over- It smells awful as well. We had a guided tour in Rome that week and she even told us that she didn't like the location and she thought it was dangerous. But again, this is not anyone's (especially the owners') fault. Also, the B & B isn't exactly located by many tourist spots. It is quite far from Trevi Fountain, Spanish Steps, etc. But the plus to that is that public transportation is near.
I would reccomend staying here to anyone, I would just warn of the dangerous area, and inform whomever not to stay out too late!
