“Magnifico! Best family holiday ever!”
Reviewed 19 September 2013 for a stay in August 2013

My husband and I stayed in this apartment for 2 weeks with our 2 sons aged 4 and 5. It was just perfect for us! The apartment is quite basic (there is no AC but fans in each of the bedrooms) but spacious with 2 bedrooms and 2 bathrooms, and a lovely terrace outside. The best thing about the apartment is its location - it is literally a couple of minutes walk from the lovely beach! Just perfect when you need to pop back for the children to rest or to have lunch. Adriana and her family were so welcoming and friendly, and made us feel like part of the family, rather than just mere guests! She drove us up the mountain to see the grotto and other sights, which would have been difficult on foot in the heat. She advised us on other places to see, and helped us find our feet in Gaeta. Thank you Adriana for everything! Gaeta itself is a beautiful town with so much to see, from the 'Split Mountain', to the amazing weekly market, and you don't need a car to see it all. The weather was amazing, and the beach was beautiful. The kids loved the sea as the water was so clear and warm, and in the afternoons we would get great waves for body boarding! We ate lots of pizza, drank some delicious (very cheap) wine, and got plenty of sunbathing done. The only thing I would warn people about is the mosquitos. We didn't realise they would be so bad, but best to be prepared, so make sure you take plenty of repellent and get the plug- in things to ward them off. The evenings were as hot as the day, and it is pretty humid in Gaeta, so you don't need long sleeves or trousers at all!! A truly wonderful holiday - we can't wait to go back!!

“Great vacation”
Reviewed 5 August 2013 for a stay in July 2013

From the very begining everything was nice. Large enough apartment with big windows to the terrace. There were everything you need to live, eat, sleep, rest and fun. 2 toilets one of them with bath! Great location: 2 minutes walk to the sea (there were free and also paid beaches), 5 minutes walk to the supermarket. Wi-Fi was fast. Quiet area.Very kind and attentive owner Adriana! Go and see beatiful Gaeta and surroundings! And necessarily ask Adriana about Emilio restaurant!)

I was in Gaeta with my wife and 3 children (7 years, 5 years and smallest 4 Months :)) and we were very happy and positively surprised. First surprise was that the flat was very nice, with nice terrace, clean and equipped with all needed things, even for small babies. Also it is very close to the beach! you can take your towel, kids and after 2 munities you are on a beach. Also it is just across police station so it is very safe :)
Our second surprise was weather - 10 days in October and only 2 hours rain and temperature over 20 degrees - so high enough to swim but not too hot. Very nice.
And this was a perfect time for family vacations because the beach and city were almost empty of tourists. It was superb.
And last but not less important - Gaeta itself is very interesting place. There is a lot to see - beach and surroundings, Monte Orlando (fantastic place for a walk with great view and a lot of possibilities to for climbing), Monastery (also Monte Orlando surroundings), Grotta del Turco (fantastic cave with great views and water), old medieval Town (a lot of old buildings, churches, small streets and great ice creams), harbor wit small cafés and pizzerias and view on whole bay), Gaeta itself....
We also recommend to take small trip on Monte Cassino - fantastic place to see with a great view almost up to Rome, beautiful Monastery and unbelievable history of polish-german fights in WWII.
so, we really recommend You this place and this flat!!
