The place is in a very good location near the seaside ( less than 10 min walk) and offers a quite and reserved environment which can be perfect for both couples and/or families. The best welcome will be given by the real owner of place , ' zazza ' , the friendly cat of the house (who will always keep you company during breakfasts served in a beautiful lemon garden ). Mario and Claudia , the owners, were extremely kind and always available to help organize whatever activity during the vacation. Some suggestions for them are :
1. Breakfast : it would be important to diversify the variety of food offered and extremely important to use and offer local and fresh products as well as salty breakfasts for all the guests that are used to those kind of morning food.
2. Personnel : the cleaning ladies and Breakfast lady should be trained to deal with cleaning and guest relations as this was found to be a missing added value
3. Common spaces : the terrace should be improved in terms of comfort ( for example the 2 big umbrellas should be always open when guests are around ) , coffee machine should be working and always available for the guests
Overall positive experience but with some ad hoc investments the place would be much more guest friendly .

Cordialmente Mario & Staff

Great place to stay. Mario the host will tell you all the best places to go in Procida if you ask him. We took taxi from the ferry at arrival. Cost 13 euro. Just 5-10min walk from the hotel you can actually go for a swim in the sea. Mario will tell you where to go :)
Good breakfast and very friendly people working at the B@B

Wanted to take a couple of days away from the hustle and bustle of Napoli but didn't want to spend the time around a lot of tourists or at an overly priced island like Capri. I did some research and decided to head to Procida - the smallest of the islands in the Gulf of Naples. I booked this B&B after reading some of the reviews and although some of the reviews did say it seemed a bit away from it all - that was sort of what I wanted anyways. The island is only 4 kilometers long / so how far could anything be really!!!

I decided to walk from the Marina (a short :20 minute walk). I would not recommend this however if you tire easily as it is mostly uphill. There are taxis and a bus from the Marina to Via Faro. The place on Via Faro and the entrance is tucked away at the end of a very long and narrow Vico on your left just as you're getting to the end of Via Faro. Once there, you are surrounded by Lemmon groves and panoramic views of the island and a beautiful ocean.

I was greeted by Mario the manager who made me feel right at home. He took me up to a simple room with a double bed, clean and basic. When he opened the window and I saw the view, I knew this was the perfect spot and exactly what I was looking for. I stayed in room 303 which is near the wifi modem so I had complete access to their wifi inside the room which is otherwise only accessible in the public areas. You are given a map with suggestions for dinner and sightseeing, although frankly unlike Capri for example the only thing to do in Procida is relax and enjoy the vista, take strolls down to the beach and eat fresh seafood. If you are looking for excitement - look elsewhere. Breakfast is served outside in the garden under the Lemmon trees.

The B&B is open from March to October only. The price is very reasonable and if you are looking to just relax and just hear birds chirping outside your window and take an occasional walk down the hill to a very quaint and uncrowded island - this is the perfect spot!

We loved our stay at Casa sul Faro! Prior to arriving they were helpful in figuring out the best way to arrive and where the ferry from Naples leaves/arrives. We chose to walk from the ferry port, about 20 min, but there are also a cabs and a bus line that can take you.
We had book and Economy room- it was simple and clean, had AC. Right off of the hall way was a balcony terrace with an amazing view and couches to enjoy it from- so it didn't. after that our room only had one small Windows's the top of the wall.
Some of the other rooms had lovely, private, patios.

When we arrived Ingrid greeted us and have us the details on the island. She spent about 15 minutes helping us, made a. Dinner reservation for us and a bike reservation from "Sprint" bikes. We didn't have a car (and recommend you don't either). All we needed were the fun electric assist bikes we rented to take us from the hotel all around

Breakfast was served outside in their lemon garden. You can cappuccino or whatever you like and a basic breakfast.

We LOVED staying here and plan on returning next summer!!

Stayed here for one night at the beginning and one night at the end of a sailing trip along the Amalfi coast. Very nice owners/management - helpful with directions, maps etc and also assisted by storing one of our bags whilst we were away sailing. Basic rooms (beds not fantastic but ok) with a lovely breakfast in the garden in the morning. Good location (walking distance) but taxi required from harbour with suitcases. Lovely outlook from hotel to sea and local properties.
