Daniela was incredible. From the first minute of the tour, our twin 8 year olds were hooked. She played a game, provided all the material, and helped us interact with history. Her knowledge and love for the site was evident - she provided clear information and answered a myriad of questions from the kids’ and parents’ teams (spoiler alert: kids’ team won... but it was close). She spoke very clearly and expertly navigated us to key sites whilst avoiding the ever-increasing crowds. She’s so good that two different families asked to join in as we went along! Not only was the tour more than I expected, she saved us €20 by helping us check our bags for free at the entrance to Pompei instead of the train station and then saved us another €4 by telling us the “real” price for a book the vendors were selling - no hassle! This tour was worth every cent. Thank you, Daniela - our family will remember this adventure for a lifetime.

A really great tour focussed on our two boys (7 & 5). Our guide, Roberta, was great and made us all feel instantly relaxed and welcomed. Tailored the 2.5/3 hour tour to keep the kids really engaged and entertained, with stories, pictures, quizzes, treasure hunts and prizes so that they had a really great, informative experience of Pompeii.

We all learned a lot about the site and the history of Pompeii, and got a really personalised experience. The whole thing was really worthwhile and a highlight of our week in Italy.

Our tour guide, Fiorenza, did a fantastic job of showing us the main sites at Herculaneum (Ercolano) and explaining their significance in just 2.5 hours. She was able to keep both the children and the adults actively engaged in the tour, and she kept it interesting for both age groups. It was an informative and entertaining afternoon for all of us, and I would highly recommend Italy Tours for Kids to anyone thinking of visiting Herculaneum with children ages 5-13. Fiorenza has a real talent for adapting her tour to all ages present, and I would imagine that the rest of Italy Tours for Kids' guides are similarly skilled.

I have three boys aged 7, 11 and 13 and this tour was absolutely the best thing we have done in Italy. Our tour guide was fun, she had games to play, the tour was really educational, yet extremely entertaining. The tour was just our family, so we went at our pace. Our tour guide had pictures to illustrate life long ago and could really inspire the imagination of all of us. If you’re planning to spend the money to travel all the way to Italy with the family, spend a little more and take a vantage of Italy Tours for Kids. Because of our incredible tour guide, I know my kids and I will remember our experience in Pompeii for lifetime!

We loved this tour as a family with our five small kids and although it was long (2.5 -3 hours) it was worth every penny, just because there is a lot to see and learn. Our guide, Nando, did a very good job keeping the kids attention and structuring the tour to keep them (mostly) interested. He was also very understanding that even the best 4 year old will poop our after 90 minutes but mom and dad are still interested. Nando was well prepared, very informed, competent, friendly and u sweats ding. We highly recommend this tour.
