Fantastic location perfect for a large group
Natalia was a great hostess
Breakfast was fab too a great selection and great value
Such a relaxing villa
I will be recommending to all I know
I will look forward to going back some time
The Villa comfortably accommodates 16 people. The owner-resident family are extremely kind and hospitable. Sounds of beautiful piano music resonates through the property as Natalia practices when she has free time. The Villa is a 5 minute walk to the town centre and from Sorrento all points of interest in Italy are possible! This Villa is less hotel than it is an Oasis from the hustle of town.
We stayed here for a week last month as we got married in Sorrento. Villa Concetta is in a perfect location and is a charming place to stay, The rooms are lovely and the outside area with BBQ/pizza oven is perfect for family gatherings. Rafaelle and Natalie are so welcoming and so helpful. The breakfast is lovely with plenty to choose from, very nice coffee and tea. The rooms are beautiful, and also have tea/coffee provided.
The location is great if you are staying in Sorrento, a quick 10 minute walk to the main square. If I was to return to Sorrento (I hope I do!) I would definitely like to stay here, especially with a large group. Great air conditioning, well appointed kitchen, plenty of space and very friendly owners...thank you so much Rafaelle and natalie!
Back in 2013 a group of American and British (20) friends decided they wanted to get together and explore the Amalfi Coast. This was the very beginning of the adventure and thanks to Raffaele at Villa Concetta we have just experienced an amazing week in what can only be described as 'meraviglioso'!
Villa Concetta is situated approximately a 10 minute walk from the centre of Sorrento (Piazza Tasso) where you can shop, sunbathe, wine taste, people watch or eat, to your hearts content. Back at base you have a number of beautifully furnished bedrooms, TWO kitchens, an outside eating area (complete with a magnificent pizza oven - we spoke nicely to Raffaele and he supplied the most amazing pizza chefs who cooked in excess of a dozen pizzas + salads + desserts + wine + beer for a very reasonable price -they even tidied up after the meal!) and a sufficient pool for cooling off after a day of exploring and then - relaxing in the sunshine, in a secluded area, fully equipped with sun loungers and deck chairs.
Raffaele was instrumental in advising our group where to enjoy the best parts of the Sorrentine peninsula and of course, all the historic hot spots.
If you are looking for an exemplary location with an amazing host, you really should consider Villa Concetta.
Needless to say - we loved it and will most definitely, return!
I stayed at the Villa Concetta last week with a group of 9 people. We rented out the entire place (4 bedrooms within the apartment downstairs, and 3 standalone bedrooms in the "tower"). We absolutely loved our stay here. Raffaele was very helpful getting us settled in. The Villa had everything we needed, including WiFi, kitchen supplies and beautiful rooms.
It is located on a bit of hill, and the street leading up to it can be a bit tricky since there is not really a sidewalk, but we got used to it quickly. There are a few mini-markets and grocery stores not far away, and it is a quick 10 minute walk to the center of town. Raffaele also recommended a great place to eat a little further up the hill (de Filipo, I believe).
We cooked 2 dinners in the kitchen (using the outdoor grill and stove), which was great. We also enjoyed having the back patio to sit and drink some wine after a long day of touring.
The location is convenient to Sorrento center and to the train station, though I would recommend taking a cab from the train station when you first arrive with all of your luggage; we walked and found it a bit stressful. After we got the lay of the land, the walk seemed much easier.
