The Camping Village Bluegreen is a nice site in a stunning location. The pitches were a decent size and the views over the bay are fabulous. The staff on the site are really pleasant and very helpful; speaking good English. Toilet and shower facilities were dated but always clean. They were also a good walk to get to.
The main con was the ants and it was a constant battle to keep them in check and even with our best efforts and much insecticide bought, we feel we lost this battle and left earlier than anticipated.
The only downside of the site itself was the washing up and laundry facilities. The washing up sinks were invariably crawling with ants. The laundry area consisted of deep sinks with no sink plugs so no way of filling them with water to wash clothes in. As a result it was very evident that these were not being used. We did find a couple of launderettes in the village though.
All in all this site barely scrapes an average but with a little TLC could be so much better.

Between Napels and Sorrento there is a little village called Piano di Sorrento.
On a cliff above the Gulf of Napels, we find Campsite Bluegreen Village.
A peaceful, quiet spot in a lively area.
Pro’s: Helpful multi language reception, large pitches in a olive tree yard, sufficiënt and very clean sanitary, good restaurant, area highlights easy to reach by train and boat.
(Minor) Contra’s: A bit pricey, no washing machines, ants.
But come on, it’s a campsite not a five star hotel.
Above all, worth the trip; a stunning view!

We stayed in a bungalow with air-conditioning, with 2 bedrooms. It was basic, but very clean and had about enough equipment for 4 people, although we did "borrow" a couple of garden chairs from the unoccupied bungalow nearby. If it had been peak season, this would not have been possible, and we would have struggled to eat together as a family! The campsite was very clean and well looked after. The staff were friendly and helpful. It was a pretty good location for travelling around the Amalfi coast - we took the train everywhere, to visit Sorrento, Pompeii, Naples and Herculaneum. It was a 20 minute walk to the train station. It was about a 15 minute walk to the nearest public beach. One of the nice things about the campsite was there were no signs telling you what you could or couldn't do, and it was very relaxed. Also, the restaurant there was excellent.

A family business that really takes care of you. Our motorhome ride here was a little stressful up and down the mountain to get here but worth the effort- take your time driving- you will get here! The camping grounds are well set with good positions and beautiful views of Sorrento & Napoli and the Mediterranean Sea. Trains and buses are close by. Be sensible with the trains- don't carry big bags - we'd been told of horror stories but our experience was a good one. Train station is 10min walk from camping ground. Pompeii is 20 minutes by train. Sorrento is a 50 min good walk. The amenities here are clean with good hot showers. The family are very helpful & speak English. A restaurant is on site or there are mini marts and grocers within minutes of the camping grounds. Thoroughly recommend this place.

If you want to explore the Amalfi coast and the Sorrento peninsula, this is a great camping to set your base station into. Close to all important spots on the peninsula it avoids the overcrowded (but lovely )Sorrento as it's at the neighbouring village of Piano do Sorrento. The train to Napoli , Pompei and Herculanum is a 10 minutes walk away and all shops including great eateries are just around the corner. The camping is literally facing Sorrento and in the night you can enjoy the ever-happening fireworks across the bay. Really top place with all the infrastructure working perfectly. Restaurant in the premises very nice.
