Recently stayed in this beautiful city only had one night but found the Hotel Johanna more than adequate had a lower floor but had decent views I would think the higher floors the view would be stunning. Great Wi Fi the rooms are large and clean and the breakfast was more than adequate. The staff were friendly especially the barman he is a true professional at his job would stay here again on my next visit to Sorrento.

Nice hotel and the rooms are spacious. The hotel is on high groung thus it has beautiful view if you get high floor. We got a ground floor unit with a spacious veranda. The staff are friendly and helpful. One set back is its location which is very far from downtown Sorrento, however a shuttle service is provided by hotel. Buffet breakfast was good and the staff in the restaurant was entertaining. Swimming pool is under construction. The hotel provide a self service ironing facility at the basement.

Room Tip: ask for high floor to get good view from room balcony.

I went to this hotel for a long weekend break. I absolutely loved it, the rooms were comfortable, clean and the views at the front of the hotel were fabulous. There is a shuttle bus that runs up and down to the town at regular intervals and we loved that we were not in the main town of Sorrento. The food was lovely, breakfast was included and we did have lunch and dinner on a couple of occasions at the hotel both of which was great especially the pizza for lunch.
What absolutely made this experience was the staff. It is a family run hotel and all without exception were friendly, helpful and genuinely cared that we had a fantastic holiday. Nothing was too much trouble from helping to arrange tours to restaurant recommendations. You were always greeted like a friend rather than a guest and it was refreshing to be recognised and greeted rather than be an anonymous face like you are at many of the larger hotel chains.
The view from the roof terrace is spectacular and the new swimming pool which looks lovely should be finished in the next three weeks. You are surrounded by gardens and the hills are a picture of olive and lemon trees
I will most definitely be putting this hotel on my list for a return visit.

Room Tip: Recommend all rooms at the front that look down the hill to Sorrento and the coast

First off, we had no problem at all what Johanna Park Hotel in Sorrento. We really enjoyed our stay, albeit a little comical at times.

The views from the hotel are stunning and the staff are friendly, Johanna herself is a wonderful lady!!

It's not a 4 star hotel as it would like to think, it's probably 3 or maybe even 2 star, but there is no faults. We got assistance when we needed it and that's all I could ask for.

Thank you for our stay.

David

Room Tip: Ask for a sea view, with balcony on the 3rd floor if possible.

The hotel is located on a hill, a bit aside from the center. It is not a problem if you have your own car – the road up is very good and there is enough space for parking. There is also a shuttle bus going up and down every two hours and I guess you can walk up but I wouldn’t try to do it with children. The territory of the hotel is rather big. There is a patio full with flowers just in front and also kind of a garden around. They are working on a rather big and nice swimming pool now, it should be great! The rooms are renovated, rather big and very clean. From our balcony overlooking the sea I had the most beautiful sunset in my life! For the money we have paid taking into consideration other hotels this one was just great! The staff was very nice specially the lady at the reception – super sweet and elegant!
The weak points are: breakfast – but again for the money we have paid it was ok but for future should be reconsidered, especially espresso was bad; the garden around needs a bit of work to turn it into something really nice, there is everything for it, with some work it can be turned into a wonder; towels.
In general we were very happy with our stay and would come back with pleasure!
