My partner & I have just returned from a 5 night break at the Imperial Tramontano, a stunningly beautiful hotel. It is steeped in history, having been a haunt of Shelley, Keats, Byron and Ibsen.
The grounds are beautifully relaxing, with the lovely pool set amongst the pretty gardens.
The staff are friendly and attentive, nothing is too much trouble for them in the restaurant where breakfast is served. Oh, the breakfast, absolutely wonderful!
The restaurant has stunning views over the Bay of Naples, the greatest view in the World!
Our room, set in the cliff was superb, spacious and beautifully appointed, we even had a jacuzzi bath. The huge balcony overlooked Vesuvius, magical!
The bed was turned each night and towels changed twice a day!
We always stay at its sister hotel, the Jaccarino in the summer, although the Tramontano will now become our choice for October half term! Mark & I cannot recommend it highly enough! More
