The owners gave us eggs that they gathered from their chickens on the first day. They had fresh buffalo milk cheese, tomatoes and basil waiting for us. The home was very big and could have accommodated even more people (except there was only one large bathroom). We were able to wash clothes from our previous days of adventure.
Although it was way out in the country, it was relatively near to Pompeii and Herculeum which we visited. We found a great restaurant called "Papa Vincent's" or something like that. The food and wine were excellent and the atmosphere was charming with covered and open garden dining.
The place was very close to the Amalfi coast and I definitely want to return on another trip to really see the coast.
I am very glad we stayed in this beautiful country, family home of Villa Emilia.
