Given the significance of lemons in the region we were keen to visit a lemon garden during our time on the Amalfi Coast and given our love of Italian food we also wanted to do a cooking class. To our delight we found the Amalfi Lemon Experience could offer both. We had an absolutely fantastic day there.

The tour was informative and interesting. We found it a good pace, with a nice wander through the lemon groves, a look at the on site limoncello factory and museum, and the opportunity to sample some of the products.

We stayed on for the cooking class which was a small group of 3 of us hosted by the family. We had the opportunity to help prepare a delightful 3 course lunch including a delicious lemon pasta and lemon tiramisu, very fitting for the surroundings. Prosecco on arrival and throughout the class was a nice touch as was dining with the family who made us feel at home. Everyone was so friendly and we had a great experience - would highly recommend!

Salvatore and his family open their home and passion to you and teach you about the uniqueness and impact lemons have on their family and Amalfi. It was a great tour filled with lots of information, history and even a chance to sample products. The cost was only 20 euros and is definitely worth more than that. Would highly recommend you not leave Amalfi without stopping here!

This is an experience you won't forget! Please read through the other reviews for the details about the actual tour. My focus for this review is Salvatore, his family and the cooking experience.
While doing the tour you can feel how much Salvatore loves his land and it's history.
When the cooking experience starts the family opens their hearts and souls to you. We felt as if we were part of this family preparing and sitting down to enjoy the meal. I truly could have spent the entire day with these beautiful people.
Please, if you are in the Amalfi region treat yourself to this experience, you won't be sorry.

This was such a great tour. They know how to start it off right by giving you shots of different types of limoncello! The lemon farm is beautiful and it is interesting to learn all that goes into harvesting lemons. This was a wonderful way to spend a couple hours and is a great affordably priced activity. Really happy we did this and highly recommend!

Please take the time to read all the reviews and you will, for sure, be tempted to visit the Lemon Garden, as Salvatore like to day. It's family business and they are all involved. Quite an achievement.

In summary we booked for the visit via there Web site (you can pay by card on site). The visit was well paced, interesting and educational.

What we really want to talk about is the cooking class, that can be seen as expensive, but everybody in our group were ecstatic about the experience. Not only do you learn how to make Italian local food (pasta, gnocci,...) and you live an event when you prepare the dishes with them and eat with Salvatore immediate family. We stayed 6 hours on-line and had a blast.

This attraction is a MUST if your are in the Amalfi region
