This was such a great tour. They know how to start it off right by giving you shots of different types of limoncello! The lemon farm is beautiful and it is interesting to learn all that goes into harvesting lemons. This was a wonderful way to spend a couple hours and is a great affordably priced activity. Really happy we did this and highly recommend!

Please take the time to read all the reviews and you will, for sure, be tempted to visit the Lemon Garden, as Salvatore like to day. It's family business and they are all involved. Quite an achievement.

In summary we booked for the visit via there Web site (you can pay by card on site). The visit was well paced, interesting and educational.

What we really want to talk about is the cooking class, that can be seen as expensive, but everybody in our group were ecstatic about the experience. Not only do you learn how to make Italian local food (pasta, gnocci,...) and you live an event when you prepare the dishes with them and eat with Salvatore immediate family. We stayed 6 hours on-line and had a blast.

This attraction is a MUST if your are in the Amalfi region

Like much of the Amalfi Coast, there will be steps. Many steps. But this tour is soooo worth it! Our delightful guides met us in the town square and were very easy to spot. They brought us up to the farm in a golf cart, where we started with a foray into their museum of farm and household implements going back in their family for generations. Then on to the limoncello tasting - who knew there is such a thing as chocolate limoncello?!?

Then begins the long climb up into the trees themselves. Our guide stopped at just the right intervals, pretending each stop was a great place to deliver a particular point in her speech, but really just to give us a chance to catch our breath. ;)

The pace of the walk/climb was perfect and not too strenuous. And the discussion along the way was so informative. Then at the end, there's lemonade and a delicious lemon cake. Look for the little shop in town with the family's products for sale - on your right side as you walk down toward the water.

Book this tour and spend the morning up in the hills enjoying the beautiful lemon gardens above Amalfi, meeting the family members and learning about the important work these families do for this fragile region all while producing delicious lemons! We enjoyed the experience and would recommend to anyone (with sufficient mobility to climb some steep inclines). Richly rewarding!

What a great tour this was! Salvatore walked us all over his beautiful farm and taught us about lemon farming, his family and their philosophy. He made our mouths water with stories of how they use the lemons and the trees' leaves in cooking. The views were spectacular and the tour was extremely interesting. The homemade lemon cake was the most delicious I've ever tasted!! And the lemonade & limoncello wasn't bad either ;) I wish they would create a cookbook- I buy for myself and for gifts. It was a very lovely morning with a warm & friendly family on their farm and I'm so glad we did it. I highly recommend!
