A long, clean, peaceful and lovely beach in the very centre of town, with the beautiful colourful houses in the background. Absolutely worth a visit.

Bring your camera and get wild and crazy in this hood of multicolours, narrow alleys and winding streets. The beachfront is filled with restaurants and cafés. There is something for everyone. The beach itself is inviting and great. The main goal with going to this village is the houses. All colours and shapes. Closeups and wide wiews. Bring your camera and take your time climbing up and down the alleys. Go now!

Lovely big beach that didn't feel crowded and plenty of space to park for free. The brightly coloured houses are very pretty and make it a very unique place. Quieter than some of the other places along the coast so perfect for a relaxing day.

The town is famous for its colorful houses next to promenade of the central sandy beach. There are some other beaches: El Paraiso, El Torres, they are a bit more secluded, and there is less sand here. Not forget to enjoy the chocolate Valor, just keep it from the heat of the sun.

We stayed one street back from the sea and had the most lovely time although the temperatures soared into the 40's. The promenade is a good walk from one end to the harbour. The beach is sandy and sunbeds are available, not sure of price as the apartment we stayed in had their own for us to use. Its a very pretty promenade and the water was clean and warm although in the afternoon it tended to get windy and create quite large waves. La Villajoyosa on the whole is a lovely place to stay, not too touristy but close to Benidorm via the tram if you want that. Also a trip to Altea old town and Alicante were good visits for the day via the tram. Would really recommend a holiday here, the people were very friendly and always said hello and it was also very clean.
