“Fantastic apartment”

Came here with my partner and two other couples. Such an amazing view and the apartment itself is well maintained. Yes there is a broken sofa but to be fair we only noticed it once during the whole stay.

The apartment is located towards the end of Levant beach and its a beautiful 15-20 min walk from most places. All the facilities worked perfectly but the only let down was the hot water. That being said though you can get 6 people to shower as long as everyone doesn't have a Timotei moment.

Would definitely recommend to friends and family.

“Absolutely Appalling Apartment - Simply Not Fit For Purpose”
Reviewed 5 March 2017 for a stay in February 2017

What should have been a holiday to celebrate my parents Golden Wedding Anniversary, turned out initially to be a holiday from hell thanks to this appalling accommodation.

On arrival we were let down by the landlord with us having to wait a considerable amount of time for the keys. To keep a group of people waiting, to include two physically disabled people, was disgusting. Only to be given one set of keys initially.

When we finally got into the apartment we were shocked to say the least. It was nothing like the photographs displayed on TripAdvisor & was like walking into a place built in the 1960's! The decor & furnishings were old & shabby. The arm of a settee was broken in addition to slats in a bed in one of the rooms that was more like a day bed. Curtains were filthy & hanging off their rails, the bedding appeared years old & the place stunk of damp. Everywhere looked in need of a thorough clean. You could write your name in the dust on top of the old fridge.

We had sewage coming up over the toilet when we flushed it, that flowed into the kitchen & over the floor. This had clearly happened numerous times given the state of the doors that had warped. One of the kitchen unit doors was missing, no cooker or grill & we didn't want to eat or drink out of the mismatched crockery. The place was so cold & damp we requested a heater to be given a faulty electrical heater that was clearly dangerous & sparked every time it switched off. We had to request a bed settee because although this is advertised as accommodation for eight, there were insufficient sleeping facilities. To expect people to just sleep on settees is beyond a joke.

We didn't unpack our cases as the bedrooms were damp & after several days my father was ill from a severe chest infection & required medication. The landlord didn't appear to give a damn. Enough was enough & we left the appointment & checked into a nearby hotel at a considerable cost due to us being a party of eight. Finally we were able to unpack our damp clothes & start to relax & enjoy the rest of our holiday knowing we were free & away from that hell hole of an apartment.

The only positive about this apartment is the view....but we had to open the windows to see through the grime.

I would certainly NOT recommend this apartment to anyone...it's a health & safety hazard to say the least.

location very poor for elderly and disabled people too steep of a hill and steps leading to apartment block. phoned the owner on arrival of apartment .said he would be round to give us the keys in 10 minutes waited an 1hour and 20 mins before he came round. on entering the apartment there was a damp smell around the place. curtains filthy dirty and décor had not been decorated for years. a run down squalor of a place. no oven or grill in kitchen. went to flush the toilet and the toilet overflowed into the bathroom and adjoining kitchen arms off the settee electric plugs loose the kitchen door by the fridge freezer warped due to water from the shower and toilet Electric fan heater faulty also one above the door in the shower room.Hot water running cold after a short time also no bolts on bathroom door. Photos of this apartment on trip advisor well out of date. after a few days had a chest infection due to damp clothes had booked this apartment for two weeks and had no alternative but to move out after a few days and booked into a hotel. we have over forty photos of this hell hole as evidence apartment not fit for purpose. the one star I gave this apartment was for the view.

Management Response
8 Mar 2017
We love receiving constructive criticism that will help us improve our service and will try to improve constantly, but your comment is aimed at hurting.
We never left anyone waiting for an hour and in your case it was not. It is true that there was a problem with the cistern, but it was solved as soon as you notified it. We have never left wet towels and the description and photos of the apartment are accurate and verified by Tripadvisor.
When we nosoros we went to clean the apartment this one was dirty and with deteriorated things that we had to replace and we have not demanded you ANY deposit for your carelessness.
If we can improve on something tell me, but do not try to harm for free.

“landlord letsdown this letting”
Reviewed 20 January 2017 for a stay in December 2016

I had high hopes for this apartment, photos looked great but some reviews suggested otherwise. I had messaged David, the landlord prior to our arrival advising our anticipated arrival time and asked how about arrangements on arrival to the apartment. His answer was simply, "ok and thanks for the info". So as there was no instruction, the assumption was he would be there to welcome us, but this was not the case. We arrived at the apartment to find no answer to either the call button or even after gaining access to the building, there was no one home. As it was 10:15pm we were quite concerned. We went to a relatives apartment, suitcases and children in tow and began trying to work out what to do next. Sent David a couple of messages, and finally at around 11:00pm, we received a phone call which then rang off. I called the number back and it was him saying he was now at the apartment. When I met home he said didn't you have my number. We were just relieved to be getting in at that point so didn't argue the toss with him.
I had cause to message him several times during the 10 night rental and he only managed to reply on one occasion, saying he would come round and replace the iron later that day. He did not come round and there was no further contact with him until the end of our stay. I just gave up on him in the end. When I asked him for an explanation of his no shows and lack of communication he said there had been a family issue. I can sympathise with this but it wouldn't have taken any time at all to let us know rather than just leave us in the dark.
Had the apartment been great, I could have probably overlooked the landlords shortcomings, but it wasn't. Many aspects of the decor and furnishings were shabby, from a missing door in the fitted kitchen, to the broken detached arm of the sofa. The water was cut off on our first morning with no explanation and guess what, no immediate intervention from the landlord (a few large bottles of water would have been the least he could have done). The electric boiler only provided enough hot water for a couple of showers which for an apartment sleeping up to 8, isn't good enough. I feel the apartment is at least 20% overpriced given the overall furnished quality.
Good points? The apartment is quite spacious, views are good but not the best as the hotel Benikaktus obscures half the seascape.
