Description: In the Taberna Andaluza you can enjoy the authentic Andalusian cuisine in a comfortable and welcoming ambient without ever leaving Benidorm. You can taste the best tapas and sharing platters of traditional cuisine. Highlights include pork meat and Iberian ham 'Jabugo', typical southern cheeses, casseroles, gazpacho, "pescaito" (very typical fried fish), fried shrimp cakes, pancakes of cod, marinated dogfish, 'broken eggs', oxtail and much more.

We went there once. We choose the menu of big variety of south spanish tapas. The method is : eat until you are full enough. Only with one condition : leave the plate empty. Good idea ! You should go early because it's full.
Only a weak point : the restaurant smells thickly fried food. Then, clothes will stink.

We went here (2 couples) for lunch today. We ordered 9 medium plates-(far too much food, but I don't regret a single thing!). We were just greedy and everything sounded so good!

2 jugs of sangria, a mix of potatoes/meat and fish dishes and another round of drinks for €90. Yes, it was one of our more expensive meals while in Benidorm, but the quality of food and in particular our server 'Conchi' were both first class and definitely worth a mention! The fact that we were the only English speakers in the restaurant speaks volumes, but we were made to feel very welcome. In my book, if it's good enough for the locals.... it's deffo good enough for me. Would recommend without hesitation. :-)

Had drinks and tapas here twice. Very cheap but great lager on draught and really nice tapas. I had some mussels which were lovely. It was nice to escape the more touristic bars every now and then. Was full of Spanish so must have been good!

As we went to the Old Town of Benidorm every day on our holiday we passed this restaurant and on our fourth day on holiday we decided to pay it a visit.
Taberna Andaluza is an authentic traditional Spanish restaurant with a great interior,nice furnishings and decorated tastefully throughout with lot's of seating options,a really nice place to enjoy quality Spanish cuisine.
We ordered some beer's while we checked out the menu and in the end we both opted for the always tasty patatas bravas which we had with 2 dips.
After a short wait our meal's arrived and the meals was superb and a huge serving.
Patatas Bravas is a perfect meal for us,although the portions were huge it's a lovely dish that's perfect and coupled with the beer is a great combination.
I must mention the staff and service in here which is great with friendly attentive staff,plus the price is really good value for money.
We moved on after our delicious beer's and meal but this is a restaurant we will visit on future holidays to Benidorm.
Very easy to locate on Esperanto not far from the Old Town of Benidorm.
Opening hours are;
Monday to Sunday,10am till midnight.
a proper Spanish restaurant and well worth a visit.

We first ate here September 2012 and went 4 times during our stay so we wanted to go again. The waiter was the same and he remembered us from our previous visit. We opted to eat outside on the terrace, it was cold but there are heaters to make you warm. The menu is split into sections such as vegetables, meat and fish etc and is easy to navigate. The problem is trying to decide what you want as it is easy to over order as you want to try everything. You can choose to have a tapas portion, a 1/2 ration or a full portion of a lot of dishes, so you can tailor your meal to your appetite.
We had a tapas of goats cheese croquettes to start, which were full of flavour and really light. We got 4 to share. We then went for a 1/2 portion of the vegetable tempura, which was courgette, pepper, mushrooms and onion in a really light crispy batter. There was no greasiness to it at all. 3rd was a 1/2 portion of the restaurants speciality dish, pork fillet with a Cabrales cheese sauce. I cannot recommend this highly enough. To finish we went for a portion of the broken eggs with the chorizo sausage meat, which is Spanish sausage egg and chips. Everything was cooked perfectly and the dishes were brought out one at a time which gives you time to enjoy the flavours and not feel rushed. It was all just as good as we remembered and we will be back. We had a couple of glasses of wine each and a bottle of water. A nice touch is the little bottle of liqueur which they bring with the bill for you to have a couple of shots of. The bill was around 33 euros, which was very reasonable for what we had.
