We were last summer and we had a perfect dinner.

The chef always suggest you the meal and he's always right. The terrace in awesome because there is no noise and it's quier you can talk, eat, drink and for sure enjoy your meal!

We will come back sure!

The food was good, but the service was really slow. We had a salat and some grilled eggplant with cheese, plus 2 small beverages and ended up paying 30 euros. The restaurant tries to be more select, but it's not doing such a good job. If I had the choice to eat there again, I probably wouldn't.

Tried to order 2 grilled tuna steaks off the menu. At this point the chef came out and kept telling us the tuna was great, which we were very pleased about. We were then told that the specials of the day were a mozzarella dish and a grilled aubergine dish, and that if we didn't like them we could change them no problem. After taking our menus he also said that we should have the duck main course, highly recommended by him. We agreed to this in the end as we didn't understand why we couldn't have the tuna, and also ordered a large bottle of water (this was tap water at €3). I felt like the fact we didn't speak Spanish was being used to confuse us at this point, I understand this is mostly our fault for not speaking the language.
The mozzarella dish was ok. The tomatoes weren't ripe and there was way too much salt though.
We were also given a basket of bread with this.
The aubergine dish wasn't nice at all, and despite saying they'd change it, when they saw my full dish the waitress shrugged 'it happens'.
The duck arrived on a skillet and was one breast and a small portion of potato gratin.
The 2 small dishes were €12 euro each and the duck was €25. We were also charged for the bread that we didn't even ask for.
All in all, we weren't happy with the cost for not a lot of food, and it really wasn't a great experience.

Let Jose Miguel spoil you with his complex, but yet simple way of presenting local food cooked with passion. Home made crab croquettes, fresh mozarella baked with truffle oil, tuna (grilled to perfection) with grilled pepper bells, artichoke grilled with chevre, walnuts and honey and the most tender "magret de pato" (duck breast) to finish off. All dishes were delicately presented and served with a young ribera del duero red wine. Fondant and home made gelato for desert. Cooked to perfection!! Our best restaurant experience on the Costa Blanca!!
