The villa was absolutely perfect for us - on a quiet golf resort with its own private pool. We didn't hire a car and I must admit the owner advised us that it would be better to do so, so we had to rely on taxis. If you are happy driving in Spain then I would recommend hiring a car as there is little to do in the immediate area, but the resort itself has a well-priced supermarket and a very good Italian restaurant on-site, plus a good range of restaurants just outside the complex which you can walk to, so if you are looking for a relaxing break then you don't actually need to venture very far. The villa was perfect for us (2 adults and 2 teenage children). There is free wifi which was easy to connect to. The children used the pool every day and absolutely loved it. There are communal pools dotted around the complex, but we couldn't persuade the children to use them as they loved being able to dip into the pool at the villa whenever they wanted and then chill out on the sunbeds. The bedrooms were great - I would say that the third bedroom (which has bunk beds in it) is a little on the small side, and is right on the top floor on its own, but there is also a sofa bed in the lounge, which my younger son preferred using, so he slept there instead. The whole complex is really well kept, and while we were there, some maintenance men cut the hedges of our villa and cut the lawn. The villa was very spacious and had absolutely everything we needed. I would definitely recommend staying here.
