A lovely flat, cool in the heat, above the hustle of the city but very much part of it.
Lovely old windows, doors and floors.
We were met and shown how keys and appliances worked.
We walked to all the main parks, galleries and palaces and found plenty of good bars and restaurants locally.
The flat was comfortable to sleep in and restful in the middle of the day as an escape from the heat!
I would definitely stay again if visiting Madrid.
In the heart of the historical district. Comfortable apartment. Only drawback is that the kitchen is a long hallway from the living/dining area. I was met upon arrival and had good service (including a prompt response when the bathtub failed to drain).
We stayed for four night arriving late the first night. A very nice woman waited and then took the time to orintate us with a local map and a list of things to see as well as give us some house protocal
This space couldn't have been more centrally located and easy to navigate- all we needed was close by - and we felt very safe
The rooms are bright comfortable and the kitchen is well appointed
David was also very attentive in making sure any pre Madrid questions I asked were answered
Five out of five stars for this fantastic property !! This is the view from the sitting room window
We had the most fantastic short break based on the heart of Madrid. Comfy beds and surprisingly quiet at night. Our host was very helpful and provided several local recommendations.
My husband and I loved our stay, within easy walking distance of so many central sights, flamenco and great places to eat (many off Plaza Mayor, Botins, Mercado San Miguel...). We enjoyed the great comfy beds, Jacuzzi, fully equipped kitchen (with supermarket directly across street), balconies overlooking the street - the building Itself has so much character and was a wonderful introduction to Madrid. The host representative was very helpful to suggest the best places nearby to eat for certain specialties - we tried them all!
