I stayed here twice on two separate layovers and really appreciated the friendly, English speaking people at the front desk, Ruth and Adrian. The rooms have a sleek modern design, and overall attention to health and cleanliness. The shuttle service was great. They picked me up promptly when I called from T1 and whisked me to the airport to catch my flight in under 10 minutes. Food at the restaurant was tasty, but typical hotel price. Hard to find a server but when they did show up they were super nice.
The main issue is if you need to go into Madrid. The metro stop is a bit of a walk, so it was suggested that I go back to the airport and catch the pink line. Worked fine going in, but not on the return. You can’t use the airport stops unless you have a ticket for a flight, so you ride into nearby village of Barajas and catch a cab. The cab driver pretended not to know how to get to the hotel and ripped me off. Not the hotel’s fault, so just be aware. Good use of my Hilton Honors points and I would stay here again.

The airport shuttle was on time in both directions. Room was nice although I am not a fan of bathroom glass walls due to light in the middle of the night from roommate using the facilities. Food service was adequate but Executive Lounge was closed due to Covid and I suspect lack of customers.
