Stayed from 2nd May 2018 to 5th May 2018. Room was very small, bathroom could not move without dancing around the door. Balcony was nice size with a great view.
Roof top bar very quiet but had amazing service from the barman Alan. Visited the bar on first floor another day and got repeated good service from the staff in there again including Alan.

Staff were great but the price for what the overall hotel is I think is a bit steep.

Apart from the fact that this hotel is very centrally located and within walking distance to many main attractions in Madrid, there was so much wrong with the room that I would not recommend staying here. It’s supposed to be a smoke free facility and there was a strong smell of cigarettes in the room. This was exacerbated when using the AC. We called front desk and were told somebody would come to check, they never did. The tile in the shower had mildew, and the light system would not allow individual lights on/off. The shower stall is so small and the water leaks out even when the door is shut.

Perfect location in the city center, easy to find. Despite noisy street, the windows kept the noise to a minimum. Spacious rooms with fancy lights control, not the easiest to follow at the beginning, but we managed to figure it out. Very clean and everyday room service was just perfect. Down sides: viewing terrace closed for private event and for this price of the room, I wouldn't expect do pay for supplies in the fridge. Overall I would recommend staying in this hotel and would be back there myself.

Perfect location for walking round Madrid. Room large and plenty big for 3 sharing, however, the bathroom is very badly laid out, no where to put any toiletry bags and dreadful lightening in both the bedroom and bathroom. Limited power sockets, and no mirrors in the bedroom.

We booked this hotel for it’s location and amazing roof top terrace. On arrival we were informed the terrace on the 7th floor was closed for renovations however we could use the small terrace on the 9th floor which is very narrow with a few high tables and no bar or drinks facilities, but if we wished we could purchase a drink from the first floor bar and take it up ourselves.... OK, until tonight as the main bar is closed for some private function but we have been reminded we can use the terrace with no bar....

To add insult to injury the hotel is still advertising their roof terrace in reception (see photo)... all in all very overpriced for the facilities offered we will not stay again!!

If you just check in and sleep with some lights on, and no next door neighbour this hotel is ok, nice views at the rooftop . The room lights are all controlled by a panel and it appears it's a combination of different buttons in order to manage one light. We couldn't get it working such that the room lights are off, but toilet lights on, so we called the staff, almost near midnight, and both of them don't speak English well. They couldn't understand what we described to them about the lights. One staff came to the room and kept pressing the buttons but didn't work and just keep on talking in spanish. It seems like they just kept on talking in spanish even though we don't understand .. and not so much in solving the problem. I wonder are they new on the job of hospitality?

We managed to change to another room in the end, same problem... the lights were still on, though slightly dimmer so we just use eye cover. anyway, by the time we sorted it out, 2am!

the first room we had smelled of cigarettes smoke, it seems next door neighbour was smoking, and also talking loudly, which can be heard pretty clearly . Rooms are not good sound proof, doors open/close, talking all can be heard. We informed a house keeping staff about someone smoking, she just shrugged and smiled. So, it looks like this so called four star hotel isn't strict about its rules.

you pay the price of a four star hotel, but the experience is pretty two star. pray you don't get a smoking neighbour, that they don't talk too much /too loud and that you don't have problems in the room so you don't need to speak to anyone.

Room Tip: don't accept second floor rooms, looks like they put people who smoke on this floor, corridor full of cigarettes smell.
