We have patronized this hotel for many many years, since it belonged to another hotel chain. We love it!! Primarily the location on Calle Goya. It cannot be better! Nice, secure neighborhood with plenty of shops, restaurants, supermarkets, theater, movie theater nearby, On our last visit in November, we noticed that the lobby has been recently remodeled. The restaurant has an excellent buffet breakfast.On the last two visits (long stays) we have occupied one on the apartments, very comfortable, decorated in contemporary style. The staff has been there for years! They are nice and professional, always prompt to details. Ana, Jesus, Juanjo Paco, Antonio, thanks for making us feel at home!!

Room Tip: Rooms facing Calle Goya are larger and sunny.

The hotel is conveniently situated by Metro Goya and is very handy for one of the best El Corte stores in town.

Don’t forget: the ice cream parlour across the road, the Geographic Bar one block away and the local market.

For the hotel:
* excellent service from reception to chambermaids.
* extremely clean throughout.
* very comfortable beds
* some rooms with a balcony. We stayed in 802 - fabulous room
* unusually for hotels nowadays, they have a lounge on the first floor, a great hideaway
* excellent breakfast selection and always refilled promptly
* good lunch menu and attentive service

This hotel is a benchmark for quality and I’d rather take the metro into Sol or Callao than stay in the centre. Well done Team Vincci.

Excellent service, great location, friendly staff, recently renovated, excellent price/value! Don't miss a very cozy bar with friendly staff and enjoy your moments after walking around the city. Don't miss to visit Retiro park nearby.

The outside and lobby are not very impressive - the lobby is not much larger than a bathroom stall, and that is with a wall of mirrors - but don't be put off by that. One flight up, the restaurant and bar are large, bright and nicely appointed, and there is a surprisingly large conference center towards the back. Service is a hallmark of this hotel, with a competent, helpful and efficient front desk and a warm and friendly staff in the restaurant and bar. The maid was kind and friendly as well. You will find a very comfortable bed and soft lighting in your room, and a variety of soaps and bathroom accessories in the bath, as well as a rainfall shower (no tub). Breakfast is $12-15 Euro per day and generally is worth the price, with a nice variety of breads, pastries, cereals, hot dishes, cold cuts, smoked fishes and cheeses on offer (nothing cooked to order). Sublime peach juice can be found there every morning. We ate at the restaurant and lounge and had room service on several occasions and found everything we ordered to be tasty, fresh, and well-prepared. Wonderful pastries were served at the conference i attended in the conference center.

The hotel is in an upscale part of Madrid with well-maintained buildings and lots of stores and restaurants. It is a few blocks from Parque Retiro, but is not particularly close to attractions such as museums, the palace, etc. It is a few steps from the Goya metro station however, and getting around was no problem. A really good choice of place to stay.

The hotel is in a good location, right above the Metro station and walking distance to many dining options.

I stayed in room 807 and 401 on different dates. I would say the room 401 is small even for me an Asian petite sized lady. There is no walking space when I opened my 25 inch suitcase on the floor. The bed was just next to the entrance so you strangers who walked past the room whilst you are opening the door will see the full view of your room including the bed and bathroom, very poor design.

Room 807 was great with more privacy, a long passageway from the entrance to the bed. It certainly feels less claustrophobic.

Service was good, they helped me to call for taxi and I overheard them giving a free room upgrade to another customer who was staying 6 nights with them.
