We walked in and walked out immediately. There is standing room mostly and the food prices are exorbitant. You can have great food and great atmosphere meters away.

This place is well worth a visit. It gets very popular but you can easily see why when you're there. Take a seat (if you get one!), breath and allow your inner foodie to come out. Plenty of great places serving up tasty food for you to indulge in. Try the Cava Sangria at the olive stall, it's fantastic!

You could eat and drink your way around Mercado Miguel for hours! Really awesome fresh tapas & pinxos. Go hungry and try everything, delicious!

I love coming here every time I visit Madrid. Its always exciting with incredible energy. But you have to not be intimidated by crowds during peak tourist seasons. But there's nothing like a cold beer, or good wine along with tasty tapas when you've been wandering around Madrid.

If you want to try the Spanish food, the Plaza San Miguel is a nice place which I recommended. A lot of food booth inside the plaza, those has Ham, Spanish rice, squid etc. The plaza is very crowd and need to walk carefully. The location is nice too, just next to Mayor Plaza
