Went last night to our first Atletico game. Totally impressed by the venue. Handy access to the Metro. Over 40 gates of entry so short lineups. The roof design keeps all fan dry from the rain but allows cigarette smoke out. Nice to have non smoking areas. The seats are comfortable even in the cheaper area. And of course the team is very competitive. Go Atletico!!

The pros:
+ Confortable installation and easy to arrive (amazing metro station in the doors of Wanda metropolitano stadium).
+ The Atlético de Madrid official store is the greatest and biggest of Madrid, if you want a gift or a official merchandise this the place (the staff is always in good mood and dispose to help you).
+ If you can afford the vip experience, I would recommend to you.

The conts:
- If you are intolerant to smokers, in all stadiums of Spain it’s allowed smoke, so be prepared. I buy a not smoking area and also smoke .

We were fortunate enough to be able to see Atlético play during our stay in Madrid. The Wanda Metropolitano is right on a metro line. Many lines can get you close those depending on where you’re coming from. Worst case scenario follow the people in red scarves. The stadium is only about a year old. It’s an amazing place. Clean, organized, great views even from up high. Really enjoyed the game experience. Metro trains run late so you can catch the whole match here without fear of missing a train.

The tour costs 16 Euros which does not represent value for money.
The stadium is reasonably impressive (albeit not much different to many other large stadiums) but it is a long hike out on the metro, there is nothing else there and the tour itself is unguided and poor with nothing much to see apart from the stadium itself!
Best avoid unless you are an Atletico Madrid fan or have too much time on your hands

From just visiting Bernabeu, is the new stadium of Atletico a bit disappointing. You can see they have a plan, but still some way to have a museum, which matches the history of the club.
