Some reviewers have queried a variety of aspects of this hotel. Frankly it is as it says on the tin....small and bespoke and ideal for the cathedral. Indeed if you really drag your feet it may take you almost 4 mins to get to the main square.
The room we had was a 'superior' and although small-ish, it was clean and comfy and completely adequate. You are not in Santiago to stay in your room so this hotel ticks all the boxes for a short stay in this town. It may be a touch noisy if bagpipe music is not your thing during the day (although again why are you in your room during the day when the city is on your door step - literally).
On the practical side, the hotel is in the very centre and so you need to drive through what we may think is a pedrestrain only area until you hiot the taxi rank. Drop you bags and then go to the pubic car park about 100m away (20 Euros for 2 days). The staff were more than helpful and answered all my dunb questions via email instantly - oh the power of wifi. Breakfasts are great if you cant be bothered to ventue out.
In sum, this is a winner for a short visit to Santiago - 2 nights was enough for us to see everything and so would probably have found minor nigglrd to moan about if satyed longer. For the location, service, comfort factor and cost, this hotel is a winner.
