Nice size of rooms, modern design, lots of storage space, roomy shower.
Beautiful roof top bar with nice views.

The spa facilities are odd. All public spaces (including lobby, bar, restaurant, elevators and floors to the rooms have a chemical odor from spa in 2nd basement). Spa doesn't offer proper massage tables.
The hotel is not well maintained. Paint and wallpaper were coming of the wall in our bathroom. The cleanliness of the hotel was bad, also in the breakfast room.
Note that the restaurant listed on their web site is no longer in business.

This boutique hotel did not disappoint. It’s very chic and comfortable and everyone on the hotel staff was courteous, kind, and professional. My room (I highly recommend 302) was very spacious and offered a great view of the beach. Being somewhat close to the street level, I was a bit concerned about the noise. The reality was I could not hear a thing from the street.

The location of the hotel could not be any better. It’s a block from the beach and less then a minute from shops and stores in the center of Sitges. It’s also a convenient walk, with luggage, from the train station. Take the train into Sitges, especially if your flying into Barcelona. It’s just incredibly to convenient.

The rooftop offers terrific views of Sitges. The spa area and indoor pool are very impressive and worth the stay alone.

Amazing hotel with lovely views.

The room was clean and spacious. The bath was big enough for 2 people. The room was cleaned daily.

The wardrobe had removable hangers which is always a nice touch.

The hotel is very close to the beach, town, entertainment and restaurants.

The spa is brilliant. This hotel is perfect for a getaway.

The staff are professional.

The sky bar has the best views.

This was our third stay at Avenida Sofia. We splurged and got the Jr. Suite which is huge and has an ocean view. The last two times we stayed here, since this property is super eco-friendly hotel, A/C was pretty strictly controlled by the hotel. The elevators were and still are not air-conditioned and the hallway was barely air-conditioned. We would come back from the beach and we would get sweaty again as soon as we got into the elevators. That was not pleasant. Our room was the same way, as soon as we leave the room and take the key out of the key holder, the A/C would turn off. We would come back to our room and it would be so hot in there we would have to wait for the A/C to cool off the room which took awhile. We would set the thermostat at 19 degree celsius which is about 66 fahrenheit but it never got below 70. This year; however, we were shocked to have walked into room that was so nice and cool. We were able to get the room to be ice cold if we wanted to. We also didn't have to worry about the A/C turning off while we were not in the room. They must have had some complaints about the issue. We were very happy to be able to come back to a nice cool room after a long day of sun bathing. The breakfast buffet is very nice and delicious. My only complain is I wish they would change the menu a little bit at least every few days. We were staying for a week so towards the end, we were a little tired of the same things. I have to say the breakfast buffet is very reasonable. Only 14 euros per person. I believe it was 25 euros at another 4 star hotel in Madrid. I could have only given this hotel 4 stars for the A/C issues last year but I can give them a 5 start review for fixing the very important issue. I do understand that they are trying to be as eco friendly as they can but the rooms need to be able to be cooled off at the guest's liking. Thank you for the management for addressing the issue!

Room Tip: If you would like an ocean view, get the Jr. Suite!

The hotel has recently been refurbished in a nice way. Bright and clean rooms with very nice bathrooms. The hotel is situated only a minute from the beaches and restaurants and only around 5 minutes from the very center. A very small pool on the roof top, but the bar and the view are really nice.
