Traveling with a family of 7 we were thrilled to find this apartment. It is like 2 apartments connected in the middle with a entry hall. The location is excellent. It is in Eixample which has wonderful shopping and is close to many nice restaurants. It is also across from Gaudi's Batllo. You can view this beautiful building from the small terrace in the apartment. It is especially gorgeous at night. Jordi met us at the apartment and patiently went over everything with us including things to do and places to eat close to the apartment. The apartment is contemporary and a bit dark if you like lots of light. We loved the decor but my mother and aunts would like a bit more lighting. The master is in the main room with a half wall for some privacy (like a studio apartment - this may bother some but it worked fine for us). The bathroom is large and hidden behind a hidden wall that looks like a bookshelf. It had a great shower and there was plenty of room for storing luggage and unpacking your clothing. There is another bedroom on this side of the apartment with twin beds and a bath. The kitchen is really nice and there is a nice large table and sitting area with a large TV. The other side has 2 bedrooms with 2 dbls in each room and one with a joining bathroom and the other with a bathroom across the hall. There is also a master on this side that is in the open space like the other side and has its own large bright bathroom with shower. The kitchen on this side is a bit smaller but the sitting area is nice and my mother and aunts loved hanging in that side of the apartment. There is a cab stand outside the apartment so its easy to get around. Some of the best shopping is in this area. We ended up taking a cab or using the hop on hop off bus which stops right outside the apartment to see some of the sites. Santiago and Jordi were both great to work with. They answered all my questions prior to arrival and made this part of our trip relaxing and memorable.
