Description: Lasarte Restaurant opened in January 2006 and holds 2 Michelin stars since 2010. Lasarte is Martín Berasategui's cuisine embassy in Barcelona. After a full renovation carried out recently, the new Lasarte Restaurant is surprisingly much more modern and with more spacious and bright look. The emphasis on light, textures with dominance of oak and selection of furnishings have been the mainstay of the entire project to give the restaurant a unique personality. The culinary offer keeps the essence of Martin Berasategui's cuisine. At the head of the kitchen is Paolo Casagrande, who presents a selection of Berasategui's signature dishes with passion and enthusiasm, as well as new innovative dishes created especially for Lasarte. Joan Carles Ibáñez and his front of house team are the kitchen's ambassadors in the dining room and responsible for ensuring this wonderful cuisine reaches the table in a simply perfect way to make any visit a celebration. The restaurant has a semi-private room in the main dining room and a second private dining room, called the Chef's Table for up to 8 people -located in a loft over the kitchen with a glass wall that allows our guests to follow on all staging and creativity of the dishes.

I came here with few friends. Have to admit that the location is super good! Walkable from home and service also was very good.

Maybe becoz the good location expense added a lot to the cost, the dinner is definitely overpriced... becoz as a three Michelin restaurant, tbh the food is very very normal...not innovative and doesn’t surprise me in a good way except few appetizers. The thing disappointed me the most was the dessert... so plain....

Won’t recommend to my friends.

I had a birthday dinner here with my son. The food is incredibly delicious and the service is more than satisfactory. Although European don’t tip at the restaurant, I did to express my appreciation. I paid €450. It is once in a lifetime experience, you should try it too.

The service and humility from the servers exceeds all expectations, which sets the level of gastronomy you are about to experience, even before actually entering the restaurant.
We went their with our heads under our arm, and forgot the dress code, which they then apologised for a million times, asking us to run around then corner to buy some pants (we had shorts on - duh)..

The +12 servings and amuse-bouche we were presented during our 4 hour visit, was exquisite.. The wine-tasting was even topping that, and by the end of the night (due to our immense interest in our servings), we even got a privat tour of the kitchen (Holy Grail indeed).

Will absolutely recommend this as a 'must visit' when in Barcelona, especially if you are a foodie...

Thanks !

By far one of our favourite dining experiences! Everything about Lasarte was world class and deserving of its 3 Michelin stars.. What a journey... the service was exceptional and the menu was a display of true creative talent, perfectly matched with incredible wines.... we felt spoilt just being there and highly recommend it if fine dining in an amazing setting is what you like... will definitely go back..

Everything felt just right at Lasarte. The food was great, but this is expected at a 3 Michelin stars restaurant. The interior design and decor were also very nice. What struck me the most was the casual atmosphere and interesting interaction we had with the team. Everyone was very friendly, willing to take and make jokes and explain the food philosophy. It also felt awesome when being in a multilingual and multicultural environment, so we really enjoyed every moment.
