This Hotel was recommended by a friend, and it certainly didn't disappoint. From our arrival, with a welcoming glass of cava, to final check in to leave,it was so warm and welcoming, we so hope we can visit again. Our room, 603, was amazing. I simply asked, when we arrived, if we could have a room with a view, Gillian, (Have I spelt that right!?), was so helpful ,during our stay, with recommendations and tips , as was Daniel, and the lovely girls on reception.
The breakfast was so lovely, varied for all cultural tastes, and needs.I had unfortunately suffered a back injury before we left England, and was on heavy medication, and the breakfast staff were so helpful on some mornings, when i couldn't come down, and allowed my husband to take a few few pieces of fruit or pastries up to the room, just so that I could take my medication with some food.
The room was spotless, great bed, great air con, and lovely shower!
The bar staff on both the terrace, and the ground floor bar, was great. On several nights, there was live music on the terrace, loved it!
The jacuzzi on the roof top was a bonus..on days when we just wanted to relax, it was perfect..sangria served from the bar..perfect holiday material..
Although i have already mentioned the reception, staff, I think they need another mention..nothing was too much trouble,,cannot thank them enough for making our trip to Barcelona so memorable :)
The Hotel itself is so central to the lovely meandering streets and character of the city..the Cathedral is only five minutes walk away, but also please visit the Town Hall just five minutes away, a hidden gem of 13th century architecture. The port front is only five/ten minutes walk too, where there are lots of amazing eating places, and bars.
I cannot recommend this hotel any higher, I have joined the H10 Club too, and I'm hoping to sample more of their hotels!

Room tip: Room 603 was great, a corner room with a view..street view, so a tiny bit more noisy than the side rooms.but we loved it!

Beautiful hotel located in central Barcelona, in walking distance of most major sites. Gorgeous rooms and bathrooms, very clean and stylishly decorated. Lovely rooftop bar with great city views. Polite and helpful staff. Good wifi.

Very helpful and friendly staff. They are providing me with all necessary information and maps which was exactly what we was looking for to plan our trip. Good disposition for a city tours (tourist busses stop placed close to the hotel) and close enough to walk on the beach. Subway station placed close to the hotel and it helps to organize your own city's trip well. The recreation area on the roof was amazing with well organized service. It's a good choice to stay in Barcelona.

This hotel was excellent. We stayed for 4 nights in a deluxe room. Fantastic location in the Gothic Quarter. Not too far to Las Ramblas. Excellent places to eat and shop. Hotel has a really cool rooftop terrace with Jaczzi and Bar. Also spa facilities which we never had time to check out. Discovered Desigual a fantastic clothes and accessory shop! Would highly recommend for a bit of a relaxing chill-out break. Or if looking for a typical taste of spain very recommended. Visited various site's the Segrada Familia & The Picasso Museum.

The best rooms are high up, purely because of the road noise at all times of the day and night in this lively city. All rooms , however, are very nice, clean and comfortable. Staff are very helpful OK

Room tip: Best to be high and at the back, views are secondary.
