We really enjoyed our stay at this hotel. We stayed for one night before a cruise. The location was perfect for us, only a couple of minutes walk to the cruise shuttle bus but also to La Rambla. Plenty of choice at the breakfast buffet, we also found the microwave in the foyer useful for a quick dinner. A short walk from Drassanes metro line for links to the city and airport. The lighting wasn't an issue for us, we like the eco hotel concept and the room was very bright, airy and modern.

Very well situated. Close but not too close to the action (Rambla, gothic quarter,...). Newly renovated in a modern and eco-friendly fashion. All the food served comes from local organic suppliers. It's probably lacking a refrigerator and could not see an ice bucket as well as ice machines anywhere. We stayed there one night before and after a cruise. In fact, we chose this hotel because it's from walking distance to the cruise port shuttle bus stop.

Room Tip: Not a nice view on the north side as there is an apartment building close by

Great location, next to las ramblas and the port Vella is just at the bottom of the street, and there is a tourist information box there too, along with he bus stop if you choose to do a bus tour. Walking distance to a nice row of restaurants over looking the sea too. Couldn't fault location.

Hotel is nice and clean, no complaints there. We booked a double room and had a king size bed which was amazing.
Pool is rooftop over looking all of Barcelona, it is a little small but again, no complaints.
Nice friendly staff too.

Stayed here from 20th February until 24th and while it is in a great location for the sights and amenities the hotel itself leaves a lot to be desired.

The rooms are really average. Yes they look pretty but the design is poor.

1. The bathroom light is built in in such a way that when it is on it illuminates the whole room. That means if you need the toilet in the night the whole room is flooded with light thus waking up anyone else in the room.

2. Room 111 is directly above the lobby. As a result you hear the electric doors opening and shutting all night so are unable to sleep.

3. Amenities within the room are basic. While the room is fairly cheap you would expect more from somewhere in the centre of town, such as a small kettle or a fridge for refreshments.

Along with this don't expect to get any great customer service.

After initially complaining about the noise we were told to return the following day. We did so to be told that we can move but we will not get any assistance. I was travelling with my 70 year old mother who as is her want had unpacked everything. This therefore impacted our trip further.

Upon checkout we were politely asked if our trip had been enjoyable. After replying that the first two days were terrible we were shunned with a disingenuous answer of "oh sorry"

I am giving this hotel a 3 only because of its location. The staff while ok pay lip service to the words customer service and I don't believe understand the meaning.

Go if you want to be near stuff.
Don't go if you want to sleep and be treated like a paying customer.

This is a clean modern hotel , in a great location, near to las ramblas , And bus service and metro
Room was clean and well kept, hotel has a plunge pool on the roof , even if you don't want a dip , its worth going up for the views, as its on the 11th floor , didn't try the food , as theres so many local restaurants
