We have been to Barcelona numerous times, and this might be the best place we have stayed. Literally right on Las Ramblas, and only a few steps from the Mercado de San José de la Boquería. Plus, it's right across the street from the Metropolitana. As if that were not enough, it's about 3 blocks from the Aerobus stop at Placa de Catalunya. The hotel staff was terrific (in both Spanish & English). The room was very comfortable. The price was right. What more can you ask for?

Room Tip: It's close to everything worth doing in Barcelona.

Tiny room, comfortable bed, helpful staff. We had a problem with our reservation (somehow there were 2 rooms booked for us when we only needed one) and the staff were as helpful as they could be about figuring out what happened - problem with booking company - and a path to resolution. Great location, near lots of beautiful places to visit and nice to walk in the area behind the hotel (Barcelona Cathedral, lots of restaurants and shops, etc). Although the area is very active and noisy, the room was well insulated for noise and it was quiet for sleeping. Loved the balcony overlooking the street.

The hotel is in the heart of La Rambla. It is very convenient from the Metro stop Liceu. Getting from the airport and to the metro took about 30 minutes. The rooms are very nice and spacious. We had a great time here and would come back to this hotel again.

Me and my wife stayed at he Flor Parks hotel from 24th July for 5 nights for our 25th wedding anniversary, we also took our 15 year old boy as he has just finished his GCSE's.

The Flor Parks hotel was a really good base for getting out and about and seeing places of interest.

It is also situated in a great position on the Ramblas, we had a small balcony which we could people watch from, the room was a good size for me, my wife and our 15 year old boy.

Because it was situated on the Ramblas it was noisy with the doors open but when we shut the doors it went really quiet (excellent double glazing), the air conditioning was very good as well.

We stayed in room 103 which had a big comfy double bed and they had put a decent size single bed in for our 15 year old boy (he said it was nice and comfy).

Just outside the room it had a large round table with 6 comfy chairs that spun round and also rocked, our 15 year old used to sit out there using his phone as he got a good connection out there, the shower was also an excellent size as well.

The staff were nice and helpful, we had our beds and towels changed every day, the room was basic but always clean and tidy.

Before we arrived at the hotel I had asked a few questions by email and they were all answered promptly and the relies were always helpful.

(We were a bit disappointed that the terrace was out of bounds because they were having renovation work carried out on it and we did not find out until we arrived and we went to have a look at it, also we could not find any English channels on the tv but it did not spoil the holiday though) (it was nice not to listen to doom and gloom anyway).

On the hotels recommendation we went on a few tours, on Sunday we went on a free walking tour around the Gothic area, and the girl who did the tour was very good and you can give a donation at the end of the tour on how you feel if went (we gave a good donation as we thought it was worth it).

On Wednesday night we went to the magic fountain which in the summer months is on from 9.30pm to 10.30pm on a Sunday and Wednesday, this as free to go to but I would say get there quite early as it does get busy, but is defiantly worth a visit.

We did a two day bus tour which we booked on line before we went, we also went on an tour which was the Gaudi tour which was very interesting, we booked all these tours on line a week before we left off Barcelona.

Just down one of the side streets off the Ramblas there is a big food market, this was an excellent market, the smells the colours the atmosphere as really good.

Eating outside on the Ramblas can be quite expensive and when we had our breakfast outside on the main part of the Ramblas it was approx 10 euros dearer than to sit inside for the same restaurant.

There are lots of cafes / restaurants around the hotel, we tried lots of different foods, we
also found an Irish pub called Flahertys just off the Ramblas 5 mins walk from the hotel (you turn left when coming out of the hotel), they had a good selection of food.

We always finished off our night with a couple of drinks in the lovely big square that is called Placa Reial (2 mins round the corner from the Flor Parks when turning left and left again at McDonald's)

Anyway the Flor Parks Hotel was just what we were looking for and I would recommend this hotel to anybody.

Thank you Flor Parks hotel and hopefully we will visit you again one day as we want see more of this fantastic city.

Simon, Christne and Elliot.

Room Tip: We stayed in room 103, this had a small balcony that you could stand and look at the hustle and bustle of the Ramblas.

Location, location, location. Very clean. Very friendly people. Good beds, big bathroom. Very nice small balcony in the room. No noise from the street at all. I would recommend this place to everyone looking for not expensive hotel in Barcelona. A coffemaker in the room and a few TV channels in English will be a good addition
