My partner and I stumbled on this place while investigating the gothic quarter. The staff were very helpful - the churros wasn't being served so they recommended an alternative that was excellent. Then they made us a plate of churros as well!

I recommend getting the chocolate sauce with the churros as this really makes it.

Very friendly staff, lovely atmosphere and great good. If I lived in Barcelona I'd go all the time!

We went here for churros and hot chocolate one evening, and it was delicious. The waiter was very nice and the place has a really relaxing atmosphere. Liked it so much we went again a couple of evenings later. We were a little disappointed to learn that the churros had finished for that evening (as they closed 9pm that night), but the waiter suggested we try a Majorcan pastry. I *think* this will have been an 'ensaimada' - not 100% sure though. We tried that and it was just as tasty. He also bought us out the last few remaining churros for free - which was really nice of him. Great place - would definitely visit again.

We skipped our B&B's sumptuous breakfast one morning to have churros con chocolat at Granja La Pallaresa. Unfortunately it was closed for the month of July :( We walked around the block and found this gem of a place. It's a small cafe with a nice, welcoming display window. The server was attentive and pleasant to deal with. Their churros con chocolat was fresh, piping hot and non-greasy. Dunked them in pudding-like, rich chocolat and we were in churros-heaven! My kid had 2 orders each and wanted more! It's definitely a good find and would highly recommend it to anyone visiting Barcelona.

We wanted to go to Granja La Pallaresa for breakfast but it was closed for holidays. Dulcinea is on the same street so we went there instead.
You can feel that the place is old once you step into it. The waiters were nice and they had a menu in English.
We ordered hot chocolate, churros and melindros. All were delicious. The chocolate con churros were not as heavy as we thought. It was good for breakfast.

This is the bar where you can taste the best 'suis' (hot chocolate with cream on top) of Barcelona. Is a traditional bar with this magic of the old places of Barcelona. I love this place.
