Houses a number of dinosaurs the most unusual being a large meat eater found only in Europe. Ther was a large contingent of school kids who ran between the exhibits and made viewing a challenge.

If you use Tripadvisor for navigation to this museum it will take you to Carrer (street) Leonardo de Vinci. It is the other side of the city! It happened to us.
You need to get to Leonardo de Vinci square.
Better call the museum and ask them how to get there.
The museum is relatively small but very beautiful.

My boyfriend came here on our last day in Barcelona. We paid 6 euros each on the door to go around the permanent exhibition. This only took us an hour as it was pretty small. However, it is very well presented, although we felt some of the items were repeated on several occasions. The exhibits are mostly of stuffed animals, fossils, rocks and crystals. They are however quite high tech, using a variety of different tools to explain and help you learn. They provide lockers for a refundable euro and also have a buggy park. The toilets were large and clean but I didn't see any food or drink facilities. A big part of the building is dedicated to educational groups, so is great for schools. They also sometimes have temporary exhibits, which you can pay extra to go and see.
The building is right on the coast, meaning we had a lovely walk along the promenade afterwards. It's worth a visit but don't plan a whole day there.
