We stopped and bought bread, cheeses, nuts and fruits. This lovely young man at Debon meats let us test the cheese and meat we bought. He was so very helpful. We also had take out that was equally delicious! Very fun!
it is one of the 2 major market in Barcelona. It is more local than the other but smaller. It worths to go there if you have time to sit down having snakes
A market place where you can get from fresh meat, fruits,cheese, veggies, seafood etc. This place has great vibe we totally enjoyed it.
Love this Mercat, not as large as La Boqueria on la rambles but has everything you need. Colorful vegetables, great cheeses and olives and you can find a wonderful selection of jamon.
Also, great neighborhood and the restaurants outside use food from the mercat.
Don’t get me wrong much more hygienic than la Boqueria but sorry for me just didn’t have the atmosphere
