The Hotel Arts, as one might expect, is a wonderful place. We stayed in a regular room with a king bed. Ample amount of closet space. A very nice bathroom with a double sink, tub, and shower. A separate closet with the toilet and a bidet. The pool area is well-staffed (more on this in a bit) with food and beverage service. Pretty much what one would expect at a Ritz-Carlton property.

The difference however is the staff. From the moment one arrives there are friendly, multi-lingual staff members ready to attend to one's needs. We could not believe how welcoming and pleasant they all were. Special mention to Pedro R. one of the concierges and to Michelle and Roya at the pool. We also cannot forget Ivette the pool supervisor. These fine young people make it their business to insure a delightful stay.

"Well done" to the entire staff of the Hotel Arts Barcelona - especially Pedro, Ivette, Michelle and Roya. We plan to come back in September.

We stayed for 8 nights and enjoyed everything this wonderful hotel had to offer. The room on the 15th floor was luxurious and well equipped. The hotels bars and restaurants were really impressive with the tapas on offer in the Arola restaurant a real highlight! The patatas bravas, Spanish omelette and carrot cake were outstanding and innovative variations of the tapas tradition.
The concierge service was outstanding in guiding us with excellent advice and restaurant recommendations throughout our holiday.
The SPA at this hotel is excellent with excellent massages, jacuzzi, sauna and steam room etc. The facilities are separate for men and women and the views from the relaxation areas are breathtaking!
The pool and sunbathing area with bar and restaurant were equally impressive!
Definitely coming back to Barcelona and Hotel Arts again!!!

Love this hotel!
We stay here when in Barcelona looking to indulge in the Mediterranean vibe away from the hassle of town.
See view is a must as its all about the sea, the sun, the relax and the glamour.
This hotel is not in the city Center but by the beach and chiringuitos.
Taxi or public transport will get you to Passeig de Gracia.

Fantastic Arola restaurant on site.

I stayed with my family for 6 nights - our third visit to the Hotel. The rooms are pretty standard 5 star style - completely comfortable and very well kept. The food in the hotel is absolutely excellent. Arola delivers quite delightful tapas of a quality and style that is outstanding. The Marina restaurant by the pool is also top notch for more casual meals. But the best thing about the Arts is the staff. There appears to be an unlimited supply of charming and helpful people who make it their business to make sure you have a good time. I give special mention to Antonio Leos and Benedita Abreu. They both went above and beyond expectations to be helpful and kind. Add to this the wonderful location near the beach and you have the perfect place for your trip to Barcelona.

The Hotel Arts has very large suites and rooms, if you are prepared to pay over the top prices for them.Everything is classified as an extra, but free bottles of water are available at turn down times and around the swimming pool.Other than that, you pay between 40 and 90 Euros per person for breakfast, 30 Euros per day for WiFi and the restaurant meals are extremely expensive.
The staff are super polite and helpful, but often check in times are a little chaotic. There is a disco which plays very loud music most nights, until five o'clock in the morning.Although the disco is not operated by the hotel, it kept us awake most nights. My husband slept in the bathroom twice, to avoid this noise, because this was the only area which had soundproofing!
The views are wonderful if you pay for the seaview, but otherwise not great! The pool is well managed, if rather small.A pity it is not heated, few people swam. The jacuzzi was well used by the children staying at the hotel, that at least had warm water.
Our verdict was that this hotel is not good value, especially as room prices are so high. The staff are friendly and helpful, but we eat out for all but one meal.A lovely ambience, but you need deep pockets to stay there!

Room Tip: Seaview important
